We've all done it. It sounded good in the shop or all the cool kids were listening to it, whatever the excuse you have some ghastly CDs in your posession you regard as illegimate children and would rather you didn't own.
Now is the time to come clean. Get it off your chest and admit to the world. Even better if you have some you're ashamed of but actually like.
This is off the top of my head, I'll add more as I find them.
Ministry of Sound Garage Compilation - It was the late 90's and I was young. I hate it, hate it with a passion. I would burn it if it would only catch fire.
Ja Rule - Rule 3:36 - I just don't know what I was thinking. I must have been high. In fact I hope I was. This never sees the light of day, I think I did listen to it once though. I would have to be beaten within and inch of my life before I would admit to owning this in person.
Nelly Furtado - Whoa Nelly! - I like a couple of songs on this and I'm less ashamed of owning it than the other two. Despite that it still resides in a box under my bed.
George Michael - Older - As above.
The Biggest 80's Hits In The World... Ever! - It's full of power ballads, Phil Collins, Spandau Ballet, T'Pau and other dodgy 80's pop sensations, and I -love- it. It's a guilty pleasure, analogous to watching a trashy soap opera.
Post yours, and be honest

That would be the "sorry your computer is delayed" CD I got from Lap Power. There were actually 2 good tracks on it I think.
I rarely listen to music so I rarely buy CD:s, but when I do it's usually stuff I already know that I like.

I don't really make a habit of buying CD's recently, however, i had a rather embrassing moment a few months back when my other half demanded "NSYNC - No Strings Attached" and "Blue - Guilty" as a couple of her her birthday presents...
I felt like a right nublet walking to the counter sheepishly with them, trying to avoide being seen buying boyband CD's

Snoop Dogg - Tha Game is to be sold, not to be told Prince - Diamonds and Pearls Backstreet Boys - Self Titled
Anyone who knows me knows that I listen to the fastest/heaviest/darkest metal I can get my hands on. How I acquired these albums over the years, I do not know.
EDIT: deadbilly, SHHH!!!! Otep is an awesome band. He is probably referring to House of Secrets, which is an awesome album. deadbilly probably slipped the above albums into my pod while I was asleep

Looking through my CD case...
I only own 1 store bought CD. The rest are burned (yay for piracy). That 1 CD.. is the lion king soundtrack... The rest are grindcore/death metal/black metal/and hardcore albums.
You can imagine my friends faces when they go through my case.. o.O And yes.. I still listen to it. I JUST CANT WAIT! TO BE KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING!

For the record.. I'm a 21 year old male with a mohawk and metal in my face. Now.. picture that driving through the ghetto at 90mph blasting the lion king.

if you don't wake up, i'll have to stop kissing you. all that flailing has made you sleepy. you rest while i untie you. stay here until they find you. My hand made mannequin. i won't let them get you. they'll know you're mine by the fingerprints on your throat. isn't she lovely? isn't she wonderful? like the *****s that we are, swatting flies from the wounds we design. |

I used to own a couple of CD¦s I was ashamed of, until me and a friend came up with a soluition to the problem: we made a habit out of giving each other bad CD¦s for each others birthdays. Sure, you GOT a bad cd for every one you gave away, but that cd was nothing to be ashamed of, because it was a GIFT, and you cant be held responsible for what other people give you, can you..? 8)

That would have to be Supertramp - the best of. But in my defence, I managed to flog it on E-bay for more than I paid for it in the first place.
