Hmm. I wonder if it would be such a terrible thing to start all new characters with a lvl 1 cruiser 1 run BP? It'd be amusing to see some more augurors and such flying around at least. Give em something to work for and some instructions of the various ways to acquire minerals and factories. It's not like that market is worth anything to anyone. I mean, should we really be expecting mass manufacture of logistics ships soon? We're only talking about like <100k not very noticable isk here.

Although I am not a brand new player - I would like to be considered for this!
I got my Eve account 10 months ago and, after getting bored after the first few weeks, I ceased to use it.
I had payed for a 6 monh sub then it automatically renewed so i decided to give it another try. Since then I have become absolutely hooked and usually play for about 6 hours a day. I have only started running missions in the last 3 weeks.
I developed a new character and focused his training primarily on mining before switching training to learning and then, finally, gaining some skills in weaponry and spaceship command.
I always try and help other people out in Eve whenever I can. In the most recent case I went and protected someone who was mining in 0.3 space.
They were flying their brand new Coveter and were having difficuly with some rats in their belt. I flew to the belt and destroyed the rats and provided cover for that Coveter while he extracted his ore and finally shipped it to the station. I did this free of charge, of course, and it would be nice if I got some good karma out of it 
Although my character is 10 months old now - i myself am only a new player and would be delighted if i got this opportunity. I always like to help fellow players whenever I can (even though I am a n00b!)
Since I have mining skills up to mining barge 3 (though I cannot afford the ship to run it  ) I would be able to help you extract the ore in quick time!
Even if I dont get the BP - Thanks for at least considering my application!
EDIT -I REALLY SHOULD HAVE READ TO THE END OF THE THREAD BEFORE REPLYING!!
