The mission was already a little dicy, as there was alot of EM fire going around and had to keep my photon scattering field heated. Even worst, I panicked after I did realize the scramming and burned out my launchers just as I put the last scram frig into structure. I also lost a prorator to a gate spawn when my internet card crashed. Tried to relog in time, but wound up in my pod 1mil km off gate. Sucked 'cause I had some max me/pe bpo's onboard.

Was when I first got it warped into WC serp side got scrammed phone rang and took it and some how aggroed two groups... Oh well must have targeted the lower group by mistake and got hammered like a gong at dinner time. I was way to confident in my shield and as the saying goes "He who pays no attention will soon pay" ok I made that up but still LOL.

It makes the game more excting, since you can lose that ship you spend 3 months (or even longer) to buy/train/fit in a moment if you're not paying attention. Either learn that your ships will eventually get popped, or QQ on the forums more. Space is cold, very cold. In the beginning, the Universe was created. This has angered numerous people for many different reasons and is widely considered as a 'bad move'.

bushwacka Tap That Asteroid 0	Posted - 2011.09.30 05:57:00 - [7] - Quote bunch of catalysts in burning down the hive (damn you, scrambling drones!) quite a few myrms and domis (got into bigger ships far too soon) and an afk rattle during a cosmos mission, bunch of bombers in FW and a few VERY close calls while doing epic arcs in almost glasscannon fitted vindi/mach/nightmare/navy domi oh and 2 noctis while being drunk, salvaging on-the-go and watching the other screen to save the ass of said faction BS above the most important part about this though is not to go around whining cause your ship went boom, but rather "nononononono ** shit warp out HOBGOBLINS Y U NO SHOOT THE ***** SCRAMMING FRIG insurance mail popup oh well, learned a lesson from that, time to go to jita and buy a new one"

For the rest just a few Kestrels (1st ship I missioned with for a time), a destroyer and two assault frigates. Managed to warp out all the other badly damaged bigger ships just in time, it's quite exciting to have 20% hull left and your ship is burning!! :-)

Didn't think anything of the swarm of frigates orbiting me until I saw the now-familiar scramble effect. Worst part is, it was a birthday present from a friend. My most embarassing loss, was my first Legion. It was just really bad luck, and poor planning. Was using heavy pulse lasers, and only one tracking computer, no web. Couldn't track the scramble frigs, and got popped on my third mission in it. That's why I used missiles now.

Who knew taking an L4 mission with next to zero core/defence skills would result in my new shiny being reduced to rubble in near record time.... Lessons, they be learnt lol

Neglecting to read the mission descriptions i flew my Fed Navy Comet into a mission and it blew up on me. Not an expensive lose, but reading the little blurb about "packing the ship with dynamite" would have resulted in less /facedesk.

Also I lost a ferox to a rifter and the rats from an FW plex lol, that is a bad loss. Edit: I almost forgot, I also lost a navitas mining in a belt in stain, was totally one volleyed by an NPC BS.

I had just popped the faction BS rat and grabbed the faction loot inside. Unfortunately a ninjaing Tengu didn't like that and kept bumping my Drake while it was aligning to warp. Couldn't align and lost the Drake to the intense DPS Lost a second Drake while watching a movie and doing Recon 1/3 against Sansha rats. Didn't pay attention and therefore couldn't kill the mission rats fast enough before their full DPS got applied. By the time I noticed that my tank was breaking, I was already at 5% shields. Couldn't align and lost the Drake to the intense DPS Lost a Covetor in a .5 sec system while being AFK for a few hours doing errands. Totally forgot to deploy drones.

Tried to kill the spies, couldn't break their tanks so I put my hobgoblins on them. It was all over very quickly. Also nearly lost a Raven a short time later in Damsel. Didn't have the skills for it and had it horribly fitted. Did manage to warp in structure on that one, however. Docked the thing up and let it sit for 2 years while I trained.

Yep unfortunately I'm not a mission runner but I thought I would try one and I got "attack of the drones" grabbed my pimped tengu thinking the last time I did a level 4 it was dead easy but 10mins later I realised it wasnt that happy. I think to date I have lost 3 tengus, 4-5 HACs, 10+ megathrons/dominix and countless BCs/cruisers/frigates to kid related AFKs. I have learned, and now only fly overtanked, fully passive stuff like Nighthawks. It's still close sometimes if my drones go popping stuff randomly and trigger more waves!

Most valuable ship I lost in missions was tengu. Ofcourse I was loosing drakes in missions before. I dont remember what missions was when I lost tengu but it was like this: I was doing l4 mission. I have to use shield booster from time to time but this time I was just repaird shield with booster. I was looking at the rate shield was depleted, I thought I have enough time to go to grab an apple. But my mother started to talk with me which lasted couple a minutes. When I come back I was already on structure, try to warp out but it was too late. I manage to clean that room in drake and salvage my tengu wreck. Most missiles and some modules survive's explosion. But I learnd my lesson. Never leave tengu or any ship with very expensive fit unattended.
