Im playing a mission where i have to destroy an indy (done) and 2 blood raven Mallers. I fly a Moa myself but I'm getting seriously outgunned. Can anyone tell me what I should tank most and what heavy rockets would be most effective?

Hi
The attached link might assist you with tanking based on NPC types encountered:-

Dump moa and change to caracal that way u'll be able to take them out no problem.

Also bear in mind, you're running shield-tanked ship (caracal or Moa) vs. lasers, so you're at a natural disadvantage.
If you run 5 launchers on a Caracal as suggested, fit 2 shield hardeners (EM and thermal, unless those mallers are doing v'little thermal, then 2 EM), 1 shield booster II and 1 afterburner you should be fine. I use the AB for some speed and to make it harder for their guns to hit, cuz heavy missiles range is WAY better.

With a Caracal you don't need Hardeners in normal space missions (death space is different). Fit your Caracal with a micro warp drive, a medium shield booster (maybe tech II) and some cap rechargers. Then stay at 50km from your targets and spam them with your missiles. In 50km they don't hit you becouse they don't fire at you at this distance. If there are frigs in spawn you should kill these first (so they cannot webb you). It's easy going with a Caracal in normal space.

Edited by: Waut on 09/03/2005 11:01:59 Completed the mission (thanks to a local player with his apoc)
Lost my Moa 2 missions after that regardless
Bought a Caracal now, 5 kickass heavy launchers on it (thanks a lot Tyrandor) and see what'll happen. Completed 1 kill mission with it and so far it looks far more promising than the Moa for rat killing. Hopefully it can take enough beating when I get a deadspace mission
