Only 50 BPCs were given out from an event, a few were destroyed.
From what i understand there are only ~40 left ingame.
They are a rare ship ;)

There not that rare. There was 7 or so for sale in heimatar last month, there is still one up for 200mil.

There is a BPO out there, I got it about 2 months back from my R&D agent.
Then sold it to Halo Jones (Oberon Incorporated) for 850 Million ISK

ok there is no bpo. 5 10 run bpc was given out followed by 5 prebuilt ship.
they are event ships and there's no bpo.
so don't get them mixed up with the guardian logistics amarr cruiser.
they are worth hight ammounts because they are collectors items pure and simple. not for pvp or anything that could involve them blowing up just to sit in hangers as part of collections.
