I was hoping to get a blue response on when or if we might see a Retribution trailer. I like many others thoroughly enjoy the Eve trailers as they are some of the best game trailers I have ever seen in my 12 years of internet gaming. Any information relating to a possible date would be appreciated.

I really hope we get the trailer BEFORE we get the actual expansion. During the Inferno Expansion I remember getting the trailer AFTER the actual expansion.
I was actually waiting for a video that was supposedly advertising the actual product I already had.  How weird is that?
By the way CCP I love your trailers! Can't wait!

Loved the way the rolled out the First FW expansion I forget which it was. Empyrean Age? With the video and text updates about Thukkers and Republic facing off against Concord in Yulai while they were updating the server. Was great, especially as it was my first major expansion release.

EDIT: BUT! On topic. Kinda hope they release it before the Retribution comes out. Feels weird to be watching for the advertisement of something I'm currently using. |

Most of them are pretty awesome, but as much as we'd love to have a shiny new trailer weeks before the expansion hits, we likely ain't gonna get it until just hours before the client update.

I too am looking forward to the Retribution trailer and hope that CCP will make it an actual trailer and not random bits of gameplay that pass by faster than your eye can see with some wubwub just for show. |

It is kind of weird they wait on trailers. They are by definition a cinematic for the product and meant to be a form of selling the product.
Iron Man 3 trailer got banner duty on the ITunes store app. It won't even be out until spring of 2013 but it was getting hits like crazy so they used it to draw traffic. Hint, Hint CCP. |
