Originally by: hired goon Can someone tell me, who the hell is 'Ganja', and why has he seen things that nobody else except the devs have?
Ganja is someone who used to run Eve-Db.com. He had special dispensation form the devs to use the sofware and tear it apart, to access the items in it. Something like Eve-I has now.
He used to change the descriptions in the sortware, so if he logged in, different models were shown. that's why he's got all those leet screenshots.
I also remember him being ****y because someone told him off (a bughunter or something) for those screenshots, so I wouldn't be surprised if the link's removed soon :(

Edited by: Asestorian on 17/03/2005 12:55:14 Edited by: Asestorian on 17/03/2005 12:51:49 Its annoying that CCP have always had those models. Obviously its a lot harder to give them stats and stuff but just because they are all in the EVE files it makes me angry that I probably won't see even half of that stuff ingame for like another 3 years BUT THEY ARE RIGHT THERE ON MY HARD DRIVE
Oh well, will just have to wait then.
EDIT: And thats pretty cool about the script, I always wondered about that. You think that gallente titan is actually a velator?
EDIT 2: Also at least it does actually show to those who think that CCP are just making it up as they go along, that they have always had the main idea of what was going into the game. ----------------

If ever. Just add it to the list (corp tax, comet mining, dust clouds, consensual war...) _____________________________________________ The most pessimistic sod in Eve, and proud of it

Originally by: Devblog - Not to mention mutual war declarations. A party which is declared upon can accept the war declaration, resulting in no cost being billed to the declarer.

Consensual wars are in next patch. Comet mining is far too hard to implement for such a small gain. Dust mining = why? What would you get that would be different from normal mining? Lag? Corp taxes... well, 'k, sure... *mumble* ---------------- Haha, stupid monkey! Now I'VE got the Oscar! Enjoy your worthless gun! |

Corp taxes are dumb anyway.
Why would a corporation tax its members? The members already put in their work for the corporation. They make less than what they would working on their own.

WTF kinda fuzzy math is this? An inch is 25.4mm, so 1400mm/25.4mm ~= 55.1 inches.
BTW, my understanding of th dreadnaught class as it applies to eve is they will have a comparable number of slots to battleships, but will allow the fitting of extra large guns.

Yeah, ok, I screwed up on that one.

Well, different materials obviously but more to the point, because they were promised so either deliver them, give us an ETA for delivery or actually say "ok, this isn't going to work", don't just ignore them and hope they get quietly forgotten.

Because the corps in Eve aren't real corporations. They're closer to medieval guilds, they get a slice of your take in return for mutual protection and exchange. _____________________________________________ The most pessimistic sod in Eve, and proud of it
