Our ministry of murder made big voodoo about this contract. I really don't know anything about their goals and thats rather irritating. So it is something very special.
And btw, maybe it is unusual for a mercenary to state its employer but if they are part of their employers alliance then making a secret of this fact looks very strange, not to say stupid  .

Heh.. from what I gather, these BV guys are disgruntled ex-JQA members sitting around SUPRM space looking for free ganks. They got a few, but most of the time they are safespotted and not really interested in a fight.
You can find 3 of them safespotted in SUPRM space 4 hrs either side of downtime.

they gank some... we gank some. Killed one of there chums (also ex-JQA now Xetic) in a Heavy assault and its proto cloak. One of our pilots exacted sweet revenge on a 2 BS/1 thorax mining op in empire just yesterday. Recieved a lot of smack (not me.. I only wish I had been present). 1 Deimos can do wonders against an arma/mega/thorax. In the end all that matters is that they are Xetic.. and we kill Xetic.. in empire, in 0.0 or wherever. War or no war.
Not an official SUPRM statement, but I just wanted to speak my mind.

Yes, u Xetic hired these mercs... Well... They are quite new corp but still Xetic. I think this corp was created especially to fight Supremacy and FOE (exJQA in Blind Vengeance)

1. May have been mentioned but apart from this corp saying they are hired by xetic in their bio has any of them or anyone else confirmed it? Atuk has "Defenders of FA" or somthing in their bio but would you believe that?

Well, good opportunity to test my new sig made by DabouhÖ
Blind Vengeance convoyed me asking whether we would have any interest for mercs. Basicly the XF would not be interested except if those were very close friends. Then they told me they were mostly online before downtime at a very good time to spank "some people" "somewhere".
This of course created some interest, and I offered them to benefit from the XF programs, being insurrance and bounty programs in exchange of respecting our RoE and focusing on a certain area of space.
I'd like to say that the same thing could have been achieved by making them XF applicants/trial members. but then it was responsability from the XF Guide etc...
This decision was reported to the rest of the government.
Now, this being posted by Forces of Evil who are not really concerned by this atm (liks Joshua Calvert said, XF doesn't really need more fighters) is quite a surprise for me.
The XF has a particular military structure mainly based on corporate fleets, regional fleets and XF fleets. It is sometimes more advantageous for the Minister of Defense (me in this case) to have forces directly responding to him and effectuing particular missions. Since Supremacy retracted war, we currently don't really have the opportunity to fight them (XF forces being deployed in empire, XF space and boarderline regions). So having a squad working on them in 0.0 is still nice, especially at the given eve-time.
The help to the JQA was in High Command's objectives. It's not because the JQA has fallen that Supremacy should be recognized a sovereign entity in xJQA space. Perhaps the JQA has fallen, but the war is not over.
Supremacy can retract its war against XF, the war is not over either.
I also got reported that the CEO of Blind Vengeance as well as one of his members are good friends from an xJQA corp back to JQA times. So I guess they can be considered as good friends for the XF as well.
Never forget this: if you attack the XF or its friends, the war won't be over by simply retracting your war.

Is this the part where we should rejoice that we have lots of targets? Or should we say "ohnoes" and complain that everyone is being mean?
This forum stuff is really getting pathetic. If it isn't a stray member of FoE complaining that your outnumbered (or XF blobbing), then it's someone else complaining that Xetic isn't being "fair".
Why SUPRM posts in this thread is beyond me. Good fight in Yulai at the last minute and all. But other than that, the few who continue to post on a war w/ XF (that you retracted) is just rediculous.
To the loudmouthed minority: Did some of you actually believe XF would roll over? That SUPRM could take the carebears themselves? SUPRM <3 Foyle now??? I'm sure some of you thought that XF would be easy kills, and many times they are (can't stop bears from being bears). But overall, we score just about as many as we lose, which isn't easy, considering how little XF corps actually participate in organized PvP.
The vast majority of our enemies do keep it clean, in local and on the forums. Both SUPRM and FoE, as well as RA have all been great folks to have a war with. But it's always the more or less ignorant "few" that seem to post twice as much as the silent majority that really tarnish all the good memories.

Actually, it seems FoE is paying for the Mercs to fight us. Since this corp is apart of XF and therefore FoE is paying for their war.
But, honestly, who cares about politics and who hired who? I posted this just because i know i read somewhere that xetic does not engange in hiring mercs, then i find this website. I could care less if we had mercs after us. All i wish is for ppl to cut out the bull**** and say things straight.
It probably wouldn't become such an issue if XF would simply say "yes we hired mercs? something wrong w/ that?". I would reply with "Nope, that's cool. Meet me at planet 1 moon 1 :) "

hmm according your statement, it would be impossible to get your respect. Respect is something that must be earned on personall lvl, if you cant see any way to give respects to others it means you do not know how to show respect, with doing so it means you dont know what respect is. resulting to be somebody without any selfrespect. Every corp/alliance has there bad appels, even your own corp/alliance. Now I ask you if I would just pick any off you corpies/alliancefriends, would you be 1000% sure he would be respectfull in any way, to be the puur gentlemen/lady? First look at yourself, than those that fly with the same banner and than towards others.

On topic; so it seems we hired some mercaneries. Didnt knew we did, but I dont see the problem. You paying for the war, were paying for some extra guns to get some extra fun for you guys, making your isk more worth funwise.

Mercs are fine but blind vengence are just lame tbh.. They login gank a ship run away and hide the second a ship capable of firing back (i.e. not undocking into them) shows up they run away and hide, ganks are fine too even, but logging off right after? everytime... lame..!

I find it interesting that FoE have actually left Obe/Jan/Vellaine this time around in a concentrated group. You're now getting more kills because you've grown a pair and are, unfortunately, coming across a fair few non-pvp'ers.

Last war the mercs were the ones doing the damage to us, they were the ones stopping us going anywhere, because they were always around where we were, no need to go far when we get pvp on doorestep. not Xetic. the reason we never left obe and the surrounding areas much was because with the merc war and your war simultaneously going, we were presented with PLENTY of targets 23/7 around obe. in fact, when we would send fleets to empire to try to get kills, we'd have to come BACK to obe to deal with another fleet that had formed there. your argument is biased, stupid, and most of all, based on third-hand info that you get from your numerous rookie alts.

Blind Vengeance convoyed me asking whether we would have any interest for mercs. Basicly the XF would not be interested except if those were very close friends. Then they told me they were mostly online before downtime at a very good time to spank "some people" "somewhere".
This of course created some interest, and I offered them to benefit from the XF programs, being insurrance and bounty programs in exchange of respecting our RoE and focusing on a certain area of space.
I'd like to say that the same thing could have been achieved by making them XF applicants/trial members. but then it was responsability from the XF Guide etc...
This decision was reported to the rest of the government.
Now, this being posted by Forces of Evil who are not really concerned by this atm (liks Joshua Calvert said, XF doesn't really need more fighters) is quite a surprise for me.
The XF has a particular military structure mainly based on corporate fleets, regional fleets and XF fleets. It is sometimes more advantageous for the Minister of Defense (me in this case) to have forces directly responding to him and effectuing particular missions. Since Supremacy retracted war, we currently don't really have the opportunity to fight them (XF forces being deployed in empire, XF space and boarderline regions). So having a squad working on them in 0.0 is still nice, especially at the given eve-time.
The help to the JQA was in High Command's objectives. It's not because the JQA has fallen that Supremacy should be recognized a sovereign entity in xJQA space. Perhaps the JQA has fallen, but the war is not over.
Supremacy can retract its war against XF, the war is not over either.
I also got reported that the CEO of Blind Vengeance as well as one of his members are good friends from an xJQA corp back to JQA times. So I guess they can be considered as good friends for the XF as well.
Never forget this: if you attack the XF or its friends, the war won't be over by simply retracting your war.
I understand this as threat olyyyyy.

Understood. But this complaint was brought forward by FoE, which afaik, is not SUPRM. now that you have chimed in, fine. I don't think you're disputing that their tactics are effective, so what exactly is it your saying?
People shouldn't hire mercs? I think everyone understands that XF is not a PvP alliance. We do not seek fights or conflict, but simply deal with what is handed to us any way possible. 3000 XF members is not necessaily 3000 PvP'ers, or anywhere even close.
Ya know, with as much as ppl smack XF for being carebears, it's sad that XF is still scoring kills at all IMO.
If you want to impress me, show me the 100 kills, 0 losses category. Or maybe at least a consistent 10-1 ratio per ship kill/loss ratio. Anything less is kinda easy for XF to replace anyways, but I guess you knew that.
It's like you guys get off on kicking the fat kid around the playground, and then bragging about it to your friends. We just wanna eat rocky road, and you keep giving us wedgies.

Firstly bsspewer, while I thank you and your crew for last night's little skirmish, I fail to see what you could possibly have hoped to achieve with a thread title such as this one, other than yet another flamefest. But anyway:
We approached Xetic Federation offering our services as a timezone-specific special needs PvP force and were accepted on the condition that we join Xetic for the duration of the contract. We therefore saw no point in trying to hide the fact on our website, given that anyone curious about us could have simply checked our corp info. This is an exception and not the norm - the rest of the terms of our agreement remain confidential.
TBH, I don't see how our members' previous allegiance to JQA is at all relevant to what we are doing now, anyway. No-one has made mention of the fact that several of our members are also ex-CELES, which suggests a somewhat selective vision on the part of those who would seek to try and discredit us.
Supremacy? Their claims are both tedious and false, much like their constant smack in local - a far cry from the standards I personally observed during the invasion of JQA. Perhaps once they have actually landed a single kill against us, they will actually have good reason to be so talkative.
As bsspewer and the other FoE guys we tangled with last night can verify, we do on occasion jump into superior numbers, and I imagine both sides had fun with what followed. But when SUPRM start getting hot-blooded over the fact that 2 or 3 of us won't engage while they have 9 or 10 in local, they're not making fools of anybody but themselves.

Hey its part of game mechanics. They are free to do whatever they want as long as they dont "SPLOIT".
We just dont bother with them much, fly into empire, or Xetic space, find some free ganks. Then head back to our other systems and make some money. Works for us..

TBH the fights I've had (and lost) with FOE pilots have been good. Very to no little smack. Just good fights. It's sad to see all the BBQ'ing in here. I wish the same discipline that holds in local held here. Supremacy and FOE, you don't like us. That's fine. Not why we're here. And put your own spin on whatever we do. We'll keep carebearing and doing our own thing. If you don't like the way we fight you and the tactics we use. Oh well. You don't expect us to play to yours strengths and our weaknesses do you? XF are a majority non-pvp alliance.
I'd say XF and FoE have equal number of pvp'ers involved in this war but you have so many more easy targets to choose from. That's why XF will always take bigger losses; we have more easy meat and our PVP'ers, while trying to take you on, also have the responsibility of defending our miners/agent runners/science-types in Empire and also defend against RA/SUPRM in 0.0.
XF can handle this - I sincerely doubt FoE could withstand such pressure for long.
So gg for the kills but please don't let it swell your ego.

No offence but the 9-man BV merc corp aren't really comparable to RA/SUPRM in terms of effort needed to repel etc.
Simply put; XF have more ground to cover because we have innocents to defend in Empire and 0.0. FoE don't. 1 day of war isn't going to determine the outcome of this war and I stand by my decision that XF have more durability and endurance than FoE for the reasons I've stated above.

Foe is killing xetic everywhere. almost all of xf has logged off to play wow or trying to adjust to "real life".
my spie.. ehm informants in foe and xf clearly indicate that xf is falling appart from the inside, with only pvp'ers online the few carevbears that are left are dying out due to angels raping their large barges eveytime they fly into a belt.
FoE on the other hand is just resuming bizniz as usual, with no casualtys whatsoever and total pwnage over nearly all xf pvp'ers that stand up to them and do not log off :P

Why is it I get the feeling that half of the posters are pre pubescent teens with social skill problems? Jeesus freakin wept....
Why do most pvpers insisting on the rest of the universe play the game their way or get slated for it? Get real or get an imagination! Do you think the 3000+ XF members that do not fight but produce/mine/rat hunt do not have a real contribution to the game? Without them this would just be quake in space. Instead we have a great mix 'n match of people with different skills, different goals and different ways of going about their busines.
As for BVC being mercs/xJQA and working for Xetic..... AND??? Instead of crying like spotty 12 yr olds that just had a large bag of sweets taken off them they have turned the demise of JQA into a new way of roleplaying the game, stop ragging on them and let them get on with it. If they fail then so be it, personally I hope they make a go of it.
@Supremacy - leave off the logging tactic c**p... it was a favourite trick of Supremacy when they invaded JQA. In fact the new years invasion was just that, move a fleet to JQA, warp to SS and log. Come back on when less people were around and then make a move. Ok the end result was our bad, too much internal bickering and not enough cohesion to take Supr on but hey :) All just part of the rich history of Eve now huh?
btw, JQA space is lookin a little empty these days (and i really don't care what you wish to call it, will always be called that even though it's not :p) , apart from the turncoats that decided to sleep with the dog that bit them. But then they should be dealt with fairly soon ......

I heard that Foyle sent him to a series of Ethics and Senitivity courses and that he attends Anger Management sessions twice a week. He's come a long way. For example, he now asks corp mates what brand of cruise missile they want used when he pods them for screwing up in combat. It's all very touching.

Hmmm.. this thread has gone way off topic. as for XF hiring mercs.. well thats their purogative. If they need extra firepower and experience thats fine with me.
To clear up what josh said.. the reason we didnt venture much into empire in the first weeks is that the mercs did an excellent job. It had nothing to do with xetic, the mercs harrased us and gave us alot of elusive targets :)
The reason we are in empire now is that we have had time to get our sec down and there are no more mercs. TBH i havent seen many xetic in empire at the mo, proably the reason i decided to attack a ferox in my maller!! was interesting as a bug wiped both our cap away instantly. Then warped me into the middle of space. (thanks ccp as always!)
