Hey peeps,
I wanna start a second account to pass ore to myself and I was just wondering if I'll encounter problems with 2 copies of the game client open on the same PC? Alternatively, on the same IP? Can I run two copies down the same port without problems?
I cant test this without a second account and i dont wanna make one without knowing it'll work :P -- Minodus the n00b Hauler |

It works I run 2 accounts like that myself. I run both sessions from the same installation, only thing is i would reccommend at least 128mb graphics card.

Alternatively try out the buddy program for a 14 day trial to see if it works

I can run two clients on an XP2500 with a GF4 4200 whilst watching a DVD or DivX film, without any lag issues.
Just set the colour depth to 16bit on both and you are fine IME.

Just make sure it's two separate accounts, not two characters on one account.

I run two accounts on one of my comptuers and it works fine. Using a 256mg video card and havent really noticed any problems save one. Usually every four to five hours if I'm on continously I need to reboot the computer. It seems to "slow down" almost like a memory leak is present. When I run only one client on that comptuer I dont have that problem.
Use the Buddy Program as suggested its a good way to "test" if it works for you.

The only problem I encounter on a random basis is the sound card driver hoses the entire machine up when I allow both clients to have sound on. If I turn sound off on one of them, everything is fine.
