4. Price Check: Thinking of selling myself. - in Character Bazaar [original thread]
tomd741 wrote: You will probably want to get setup on www.eveboard.com so we can see your skills. And under 1m SP probably won't sell sadly. I'm not expecting to be sold for it's SP; rather it's for people who want a 2003 char without a ti...

6. Re-skill Option on Patch - in Skill Discussions [original thread]
Edited by: Naylon on 18/12/2007 07:58:14 A re-skilling option is just not viable. As has been mentioned above, because training occurs at different rates depending on your attributes, simply redistributing the points unbalances things horribly...

7. Eve Cemetery - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Think this is an awesome idea. I reckon CCP should create a hearse type ship and give one to Azia for him to collect his corpses in.

8. CCP: For the love of god, delete all those bloody cans! - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Edited by: Naylon on 22/10/2007 06:24:51 How about a new mini-profession. Requires salvaging 5, and some other skill, which gives you a percentage change of unanchoring the can, then you can have another skill, maybe based on hacking which wi...

10. EVE under Linux w/ Wine - in Linux [original thread]
Finally gotten around to installing wine on my linux box. Running ArchLinux with wine 0.9.46. Running pretty much perfectly. Copied the arial ttf over to the windows folder as it was blackscreening me after the splashscreen, other than that it's w...

11. Why rat in a Raven when you can rat in a Dominix? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I can pilot a Domi and Raven with roughly equivalent skills, Spec 4 in torps and t2 drones. Drones do kill BS rats slower than torps, but I fit a mwd to my domi so travel time to and from spawns with drones is minimal, plus I can loot and salvage...

12. Blockade Runner! Is cloaking the answer??? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Covert Ops or Force recon are your best bets for safe scouting. Cov Ops II cloak is perfect for this. If you get bubbled, then you can just move out of the bubble then warp, I've run countless camps in 0.0/Lowsec with a cov ops, and never been c...

13. Salvager Setup - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I use a cat, nice ship to loot in. [High] 4x Salvager 4x Tractor [Med] 1x1mn ab 1xCap recharger [Low] 3xCargo Expander Even with basic t1 mods it still scoots around nicely and can hold 650m3 of stuff. If that's not enough then I just tug a can ...

15. T2 Guns. Why? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
T2 guns are worth training for once you have got all your support skills to a reasonable level. They will provide you with much better trade off for training time than training t2 guns will over the short term. On ships like the myrmidon t2 guns ...

17. Are noobs moving too fast? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I don't think people should complain about noobs in BSs. It's their game, let them have fun. Teach them a lesson about effectiveness by popping them by all means, but they won't learn otherwise.
