Let us hope and pray that they are doing some BUG FIXES.
I don't care how many gamer awards they win.
I chopped Bunny into little pieces.

Yeah, theyre working so hard that its been more then 6 weeks since the last patch, and theres no release date for the next one.
If CCP is getting reorganized and sorting themselves out, more power to them. I dont even see Kieron much anymore though, it seems they dug themselves a hole and pulled it in after them. ------------------------------------------------------------------

Maybe the development team are getting fed up of getting flamed every time they post anything.
If it's that they're adding new content, they get a 'fix bugs' flame. If it's a 'bug fix' post, they get a 'but where are $shinything that was promised in beta'. If it's 'gameplay balance' they get a 'but what about $other_thing that's broken' from one bunch, and 'noo, don't take my toys away' from another.
Don't know about you, but I'd be reluctant to blog if that were the case.
And spare me the argument that they're paid. Yes, they're paid to work on, and develop an online game. They're not paid to get flames and abuse _every time_ something changes.

Yeah, couldn't really blame them. It seems no matter what they do it's the wrong thing... And even if they write things it seems many people ignore it anyway ("We demand the artists go fix the servers! What're you paying them for?!").
Well, people are more likely to complain than compliment.
Here goes: CCP, you do a good job and you make a great game. It would be nice if you told we little people what you're thinking more often... But don't let it get in the way of doing the important stuff. And don't let the flames get you down. People are averse to change, but there are plenty out here waiting to see what happens...
Oh, and the servers were laggy the other night. You should hire more artists. -- OTO are selling Impel and Bustard transport ships. Contact Tsavong Lah or Lacero Callrisian for details. Like mining, hauling or building? Join OTO! |

If you hadnt noticed the next test patch has gone onto the test server which means within 2-4 weeks we might have this patch in the main game there are quite a few fixes by the looks of things - they have just implemented EW,AMMO and propulsion changes - working hard as always

News from Eve-I from oveur
Oveur has released following news:
The new TQ patch is now available on Singularity for testing. It includes bug fixes, optimizations to server and client. Improvements to Electronic Warfare now with proper UI support and Ammunition in associton with changes to the pulse lasers are also available. We're also wrapping up other improvements which will be available on Singularity over the next days, like Medium and Small Control Towers which will be available on the market. This patch is scheduled for deployment on TQ within the next 3 weeks depending on the testing effort.
"so the more players we get on the test server the quicker this patch will be put in once bugs are found - so im off to the test server to give it a run - anyone joining me ?"
