Well, you might remember me and Qalten went off to turn my image into a spiffy site - and we've done just that! It's ready for viewing, but...

The new version of the EDT is online and ready to go! All it needs now is the information.

The table isn't a free for all, we have to closely consider who gets on it (and is taken off) so we must assess claims before we respond.
Also i just want to announce that Qalten is handling everything until June since I have exams that must be done

SAS, the diplomacy table is for alliances only. This is why we didn't include our wars with you.

I'm currently making a load of changes and updates, so anything that needs doing will need to be stated here. May take a day or two.
1. Can anyone give me more information on the S.A.S. / Union / FE situation before I start adding people to the table? Are their claims on their regions cemented?
2. Phantom Conglomerate added because they're getting quite large: over 500 members now.

I have just written up my summary of the Great Northern War for those of you who visit our "information" section. I hope to expand this section soon.
I need some information for my "Changing Faces of Venal" article. I just need a basic history of the region, so if anyone knows where i can find this information i would appreciate it.

FYI, your "The Catch Wars" summary is pretty wrong.
CA existed way before the ex-stainers (called C4) joined it, also i think Omega Corp was the only stain corp that joined CA, the others such as OTA Corp and TTi was recruited by Omega Corp.
From reading the whole summary it would seem as if you already knew some of this, but you should correct the error anyways, as OC did fight CA for quite some time before their problems with SA.
ok, i made a slight modification to try and remedy this. Please say if i should change anything else

SAS/VOC own germinate. they are naped with FE/union and seem to be enemies with the rest of eve.
what are SAS and VOC abbreviations of?

Erm, I think you want the "Territorial Map" just down the hall. Perhaps try here?
It's ok Q i tend to add who owns which territory in the descriptions.
I usually use the offical map to work that out however, so once it's updated i'll change our info accordingly.

was jus the discription on F-E that he was worried about: it oly says vale :)
Geminate was handed over peacefully so its safe to change without anybody going crazy. (not sre when the map will update  )

Wouldn't it make sense to get rid of the protectorate status? The only protectorate in recent times was PBL, and there hasn't been one in ages. Not to mention it would get rid of that asymmetrical black spot in the table.
Qalten has already said this to me but i feel that we will need it again one day...

It's better to remove non-active alliances if they're dead in the water and just taking up room on the table. Both Union and XETIC seem to have vanished.

I will be happy to add PARA if you can provide some information on your activities etc. I only tend to add those alliances who become active diplomatically and interact with the other alliances in the game, I do this to both save space and to keep the entirety of the table relevant.

A long overdue change: only offical alliances will be shown on the table. Back when this table was first created, we allowed alliances that had not yet coughed up the funds to form an alliance to appear on our board. This is no longer the case.
Also i would like a show of hands for those in favour of deleting the Fountain Alliance from the table.

Unless FA expect me to be telepathic or something, they have only themselves to blame for being deleted. I am not able to personally keep up to date with every single alliance in this game, and i repeatedly asked for clarification on FA's existence in this thread. I can not be held responsible if the entire membership of FA and their allies are too incompetent to even type a few words to stay my hand from the delete button.

Wasn't sure to post here or contact you in game. Just have a problem with the chart, very hard for me to read it. I am in the minority who are red/green colour blind. So it looks like a big blur to me. I have to filter and remove everything and do it one at a time, I can get 2 though.. Just thought I would give you some feedback.
You should contact Qalten or wait for him to post here, he might have a solution hidden up his sleeve

We used to add large corps back in the day when Shinra, ATUK etc were roaming independently but these days it's only official alliances.

We do not have them on our 'alliance' KOS list. It is possible that a few SMASH individuals or corps may be on our KOS list for attacking us or neutrals in our area but the alliance as a whole is not and their members can mine/hunt and travel through our space as long as they abide by our non-agression rules.
I would suggest that you therefore take SMASH off the CVA enemy list - unlesss of course SMASH do consider us enemies - in which case leave it as it is and we will add them to our KOS
I believe SMASH once came in here and listed most of the known galaxy as KOS, so you might have been on their list

Well the table is on its way to being updated, i just need to know what the standings of ERA and OSS are.
Edit: It's becoming difficult these days to know which alliance to add and which not to. If anyone has any ideas as to how we should choose the alliances that go here i'm open to anything you might have to say.

I just moved house, so my internet is currently down (posting from someone else's connection!). Will be back to update hopefully by this time next week.
In other news, Qalten is now looking into a wiki-style system for the table. That means people will be able to post their changes directly onto the table without having to use this thread. Should be interesting...

Hi guys, the table is now in hiatus for a while.
The reason is I believe its not up to meeting the demands of recording the kind of information it's designed to, after all it was orginally concieved in an age when major alliances were few and far between!
And so it's time for a major redesign. I'm looking for a new bunch of programmers to help me out. See here

I've updated what I could. There is still an issue with the updating of new alliances to the cached list. I believe the table caches directly from eve and then I'm able to select from a list who's active and who's not. I need to have alliances such as Aftermath and Ka-tet added to this list, so i'm going to speak to Knifee about it.
