And what about memory? What about charisma? Memory is only useful for industry. Charisma is useless for everything... except agent running. Yay PVE!
There is a LOT of industry related skills and science skills. Also charisma is useful for trade skills, not just agent running
BTW nobody is forcing you to train to fly ships of all the races. I can only fly caldari and i am quite happy with that. If you train to fly only ships of once race and the race's weapons low per is not that bad.

It's true that you can specialize on one race if you (like me) got poor perception, but then you end up with nothing to fly when flavour of the month switches to another race (and theres no resistance against Tombs Nerfbat)! Bottom line is, you need to be able to fly two races ships, then add the required gunneryskills...
Well its the players that pick the flavour of the month usually through positive feedback loop whining in forums about something being overpowered. It results in more people using it which in turn results in more whining. I find that mostly everything in this game works if you use it how its intended...and if it gets nerfed then i will just deal with it and adapt.

Your wrong. To do any meaningful r&d you need research project management skill, which is a rank 8 skill and requires science 5, research 5 and lab ops 5. And you also need to train a ton of r&d skills (rank5) to at least 4 to get decent research points from agent.
And to be decent at industry you need to train a ton of skills to 5 also.
