Sadly I can't remember who killed me first, I do however remember the episode alot.
It started back in the days I was at CAS (Gallente noobcorp) and a group desided to go into 0.1 and do some mining, I had just got into a Vexor cruiser and I mean I had spent days and days mining to afford one anyway I did insure it and joined them.
I remember the thrill when travling to the area as we knew it was claimed by a corp.
We met at the station in the system and formed up, moved out to the belt of choise and did start mining.
All the time we kept our eyes around and checking local and scouting for possible pirates and all the sudden we spot one far far away, teamleader tells us to pack stuff together and start moving out.
With us we had a Megathron as for protection and one by one they started to jump out after their miningdrones are retracted.
I had never been in a fight at that stage and saw these two lights coming for me and I stopped and wondered ... what are those??? and before I am aligned for warp two cataclysm cruisemissiles slams into my vexor, all shield and armor are gone and half the hull or more and while this happen the Megathron pilot have engaged in the fight trying to get us out of there or give us time anyway.
But he have no chance against 2 pirates like this it seems like and just as my ship is starting to warp I get hit once more and my ship goes boom but I rescue my pod and manage back to station.
The Megathron pilot did loose his ship as well, and the mining was a complete disaster to be honest but very fun 
Do I hold grudge to the pirate ??? hell no... I was in low sec mining that actually made my day, with the insurancemoney I could afford a Thorax cruiser and the thrill of having pirates roaming the sky while mining was also good.
I don't mind pirates like that they did hunt us down and quite honestly gave us a thrill... but I am also glad there is "safe" space too... and I don't care much about camping gates, at this moment we could get in easy but we where hunted down by the pirates in the belts and that is good.
AND... it did inspire me to train better weaponsskills [8)
