To all CEO's and directors of corporations:
I am a director in Azure Endeavors. We are a mining/productions corp. I am writting this to help all corps who do not wished to be robbed blind. Do not, I repeat do not accept a character named Hitori Hanzoil in your corporation. He is a theif. After we had accepted him he stole a Battlecruiser from our corporation. Not a big theft, but we didn't give him much access either. After he left our corp, we recieved evemail from his formor CEO stating that he stole ships/money from them as well. He has sense joined another corp after us and apparently took a few million from their corp hanger.
I'm trying to help you all out here, don't take Hitori Hanzoil into your corp or be prepared to get everything stolen. Thanks for your time and watch out for the corp thiefs in EVE.

We did that. Unfortunately, the CEO had already given him rights to their wallet/hanger. He robbed from them too and sent us an evemail to gloat about it. I'm sure he laughed at the other CEO too. We didn't even give him rights to our hanger. One of members let him borrow the BC on an act of good faith. That member is now 30 mil shy of a full basket :)

well, contact his next CEO then, or if he makes his own corp, declare war on him and kill him as many times as you like

????? who gives that much access to a new corp member? sure, access to fittings hangars is ok, but access to the corp wallet? how about T2 BPO hangars, or high end BPO hangars?. The sad truth of it is you've got to be extremely careful with who you trust in this game, dont go putting that much trust in someone who has just joined your corporation, it will only lead to the crappy things that have happened here. I'm glad your loss was limited to a battlecruiser b/c thats easy to recover from, but the fella who gave corp wallet access....ouch.

Edited by: Dawnstar on 29/03/2005 01:58:42 Checking up on alts who have behaved badly can be an amusing way to pass some time while mining. There's a couple of characters I still check on, even a year after they stole some stuff. Its worth the time, as on occasion you get a truly enjoyable payoff. For example...
A former corp I was a member of got a warning about a character who had recently joined our organization. As we were slightly on the paranoid side at the time, he hadn't obtained much access yet. We did a bit of checking around and verified that he was indeed one of the true scum of the galaxy, a corp thief. Oh, and he was clamoring for us to build him a battleship too.
Ok, a corpmate of mine told him. We had him bring all the minerals to one of our stations out in 0.0. He handed over the minerals to have a ship built for him. Then he went off to go shoot some pirates with a couple members of our corp. Ooops. His cruiser got destroyed by friendly fire. He went and got another ship. That one got blasted too.
Thieves aren't really prepared for having the tables turned on them evidently. He still thought it was an accident. (How dense can you get?) He brought out a third cruiser. My friends blasted that and podded him as well this time, deciding that his genes needed to be scoured from the pool.
Our CEO booted him at that point. We thought that was the end of his foolishness. We were wrong... he'd moved his clone out to on of our alliance's stations in 0.0 and he'd sunk nearly all of his funds into getting the minerals for his battleship. So he didn't have enough to pay for a full clone to jump out of there without losing skill points. And he was smack in the middle of our alliance's territory with a negative standing to us.
I'm not sure whether he deleted the character or got blasted trying to sneak out.
Anyway, we used the minerals he gave us to compensate the corps he ripped off as best we could. They laughed almost as hard as we did about what happened to the guy though, which is a compensation of sorts all on its own.
So, it can be well worthwhile to keep tabs on your little leech. It can provide you, and others with a lot of entertainment. Good luck. -D

The Freeborn lancers have also been hit by a corp thief, fortunately he only made off with 3.6million isk. His name is TB0NE (with a zero not O)! We went on a hunt, and located him, exacting some level of vengeance. It was extremely amusing to see his chat messages of disbelief when Concord ignored me after podding him! Almost worth the money lost. However watch out for him.

TB0NE talks lots of smack, too. He was being a general pain in the arse in my home system so I got his -then- current CEO to kick him out of the corp he was in.

Where the hell do you people live that you're so gullible.
I wouldn't let a stranger borrow a pen, much less my battlecruiser.
