Rules for this thread
1. Only post changes you believe should be made to the map.
2. If you disagree with the map makers decisions, contact a representative of your alliance and have them contact the map maker via eve mail or similar.
3. If you disagree with the map makers decisions, do not post, your post will be considered off topic and deleted, you may recieve a warning or a ban.
4. If the situation can not be solved with a discussion between the contesting alliances and the map maker you can contact the moderator team and ask them to mediate.
I understand that rule 1 and 3 may seem conflicting so I made a slight change to it and I will try to explain it. If you believe a change should be made, please post it, if you disagree with someone elses post, please post that you disagree. Do not engage in long discussions, once your post and the opposing post has been noted, there is no need for further discussions in this thread.
We, The EVE Forum Moderator Team, believe that the map is a good resource for the community. We acknowledge the fact that any map can never be completely accurate, but as long as it shows the approximate locations of alliances and dangerous war spots, it does fill its purpose. We support the map by making it easily accessible and easily updated. However, we do not take any responsability for the content of the map.
I will not lie to you, if it becomes too problematic keeping this in order we will drop our support for the map. But if we are forced to stop supporting this map we will make sure that the people who caused that decision will lose their posting priviliges forever on the EVE Message Boards.

À Split up space previously owned by FOE. GODS controls Tribute, Vale of the Silent contested between Vale Alliance and Forsaken Empire, Geminate contested by United Confederation of Corporations and SAS. Added Warzones.

Well I am part of FIX but I am going to make a impartial statment as regards this arguement of claiming space, FIX in Fat has not only held the station for the last week but has held a POS in the system clearly shown on map also.
Now thats just FIX, but in saying that maybe a agreement can be made as to what has to be done by a alliance group to control/contest a area without a 7 page thread of flames counter flames ect.
Surly we as reps of our alliances can come to some sort of accord or rules that govern the claiming/contesting of a region without having to resort to this crap on this very good thread that RF puts alot of work into for our enjoyment.
Fix stands ready to talk to other alliances as regards a set of common guidlines to be used by RF in his map making and with RF's imput.

There should be, but I'm unable to get any specific info from either side of the conflict so I can't add anything.

From my observations being in the northern regions, I'd consider pure blind to be very hot, the surrounding regions may get the occasional small fleet of ships that go around looking for ganks but thats about it at this point.

The Warzone should cover Northern Pure Blind and The southern areas of Deklein, Fade etc. One big red blob should do it.

There has been some engagements in fade, but I'm sure we both can agree that the majority of engagements have been between ROIR and Torrinos in pure blind.

If you disagree with a change have one of your alliance reps contact Mr Fury to resolve it.

The collation has also held a POS in Fat, for the same amount of time.
There are battles there still,
and we also run around your own region ganking stuff.
The saga for FAT is far from over, therefore I would like to see FAT stay as a contested area untill one side pulls out completly.

Insmother looks off just because of the way I took a screenshot of the map, I don't remember now but I believe I zoomed out and then flattened the map. Its also why the Wicked Creek/Insmother/Curse regions are pretty jumbled together.

i'm no spokesperson for foundation or anything, but just from what ive seen, GW is pretty much Foundation vs -V- ... think [5] is focusing on the north now ... not 100% sure though
Foundation seems to have the upperhand most of the time, but thats just my point of view |

Well, I was just flying around down there looking for targets, and I saw 2/3 stations held by SMASH, as well as SMASH and Stain POS, so I'd say its still contested.

red alliance now claims most of insmother, look at the station names there for some indication that it is contested. -v- have given them barely any resistance up there, although i would say the great wildlands is now contested between v and foundation.

i see no waste of a weekend.

The stations were taken overnight. A well organised effort yes but this should not effect the map in any major way yet. If RF updates in the next couple of days a warzone icon would be the best option at this time.

map udates are ver slow. To be shure when you check a station owner like that, click info on the corp that owns the station and check his settled systems info. That's the only thing that updates straight away. The map updates every dt or so i think or even slower.

Lol, that first link was about how The Royal Sindicate blew up a NAGA pos, AFAIK, they aren't in IMP so that has no relevance to what ever the hell your talking about, and the 2nd link, you escorted a bunch of indys, big woopdedo. Well when you have to get past a 10 Battleship camp and try to get 3 INDY's get passed them sniping it becomes quite a task... 1 loss is very VERY good.

COE - Coalition of Empires extends a little futher south on the map that what is shown. Don't know if you want to update to show that or not. You can view several pos's claiming territory south of what is shown on the map.
While at times there is alot of fighting going on in the area from several pvp groups that hang out in the area, they seem to stroll by for a few days and then move on.

there is no particular enemy, if the number of kills warrant a mark greater than any other choke point.. possibly "[5] v random pirates" hostile traffic is mostly FA/IMP/G/F-E/Celes/Rat/xXF none being partularly heavier than any other..

and its not like thier are that many changes, think the only one is to just put a warzone marker around curse and the corridore which might be a bit of a stretch anyway. If I was RF I would just put off the update till the end of the week when there will prolly be some bigger changes to the map

On my roadtrip to ASCN space, I made pitstops in Paragon Soul both ways.
This region is deffinatly under SMASH/Vertigo control.
I visited 3 stations, and they were all in SMASH hands.

I spoke with Andy and reviewed the information from Tr4xx, I also spoke with several other directors and ceo's you have approached. While the messages were similar, their intention varied, hence my request for direct communication.

From what I hear SE/Coalition have agreed to give ownership of FAT-SP in Catch to FIX within the next two weeks. Also fighting in the area has ceased. I would imagine the contested status can be removed.

Apologies if I may have the facts wrong but Im told this was the last statement issued to FIX members, via your own forum no less. In light of no new statements I thought this still to be the case. If things have changed then I suggest you need to get better at informing your alliance buddies of the new situation.
What exactly is the status of FAT, afaik hotilities have ceased, FIX have run back to Querious, does FAT now belong to SE?
I only ask in order that the map can be accurate, atm it shows as a contested system.

This forum is for the purpose of informing the mapmaker via official sources of any changes that should be reflected on the map, not for Alts to play politiking and stirring trouble..... are you an official source for either FIX or SE?? No I didn't think so... now get back in your box.

I would hope a diplomat, paticularly one speaking for their entire corp would have a little more tack. Upon reading your recent posts in these forums I can only assume the following:-
Either A - a young fella, with little life experience, slightly imature, maybe with a confidence problem and dont realise this is just a game or B - Like to roleplay as a somewhat of a j**k.
Either case is not good for FIX methinks...a spokesperson should have at least a little diplomacy running through their veins IMHO.
Anyway back on topic, what is the status of FAT atm? Does anyone know?

i woudlnt expect an update anytime soon... think RF has quit the map making business.. it was probably stressful to say the least.. we will either have to scrap the map all together or look for someone new.

I am willing to attempt making a map in a style very similar to this. However, I need to know a few things so that I can have it fairly accurate before I display it to anybody.
A.) Does SE still lay claim to Paragon Soul, or can it be considered under the control of Smash alliance?
B.) What is the status of Great Wildlands?
C.) Who lays claim to Catch stations now, specifically FAT-6P?
D.) Who claims Period Basis?
E.) Who claims what up north? I know that Xelas claimed some regions, and I haven't the slightest clue who owns Geminate.
F.) I need to know current conflicts between alliances.
If I can get this information, I am willing to put together something for the Eve Community so that everyone has an idea of what is going on.

B)Warzone contested between V and Foundation
C)Stain, uncontested it seems
D)BoB, uncontested

F) BoB vs FA in fountain, SE vs FA in fountain and stain (i guess?), V vs Foundation...
Tho tbh u should just wait til after the patch cause that will shake things up quite a bit...
