Why was this put in? It couldn't be because CCP is obsessed with combat to the exclusion of all else, could it?
If u wont move while undocking and wait peacfully, then they cant target you. WHen u move, they can target you but u have to wait 20 secs.
So... Wait 20 secs while not moving, then just press dock :) and you are safe :)

As Hastra said.. if you undock and dont do anything let yourself drift out.
Keep clicking to redock keeping in mind the delay. They cannot lock you until you initiate some action such as double click space or locking them.

LOL i could see CCP doing this as a joke on april 1st. Though i would suspect half the community would yell at them for wasting time on useless content :P Major props to the artist that TOTALLY made my day although Capt Morgan in the bkg would be much better since half of us "pie-rats" play drunk :P

Windows on stations would make sense, it would encourage as much fighting as it would discourage, with people daring a breakout when they think it's clear only to find the ships warping back in the next second. Not seeing anything they'll assume they're all outside all the time and go watch a 'reel.
No, not everyone has a scouting alt at the same station all the time.
