She/he was caught today 27 March 05, AFK mining in Luminaire Noya Belt 1 today by 4 KE ships, including 2 Brutix, a destroyer and a frigate that proceded to surround her at less than 500m. All were prepared to fire on her for the 16mil plus isk bounty that is now on her/his head. But a corp officer restrained them and had them nudge the ship a couple of thousand meters from where it had been parked. They then proceded to leave messages for her/him in jet cans surround her/his ship. Numerous witnesses came by whule this was going on and we proceded to orbit the ship for a bit and then left it there. It was later heard that she/he became quite profane and obscene on the local chat channel about the incident. I think she/he has lost much credibility to the ore thief cause. Very very sloppy Big Doggy!!

Very very sloppy Big Doggy!! This is true all except the part about me saying anything in local about it. I was afk mining, and I filled my ship. I'd come back and these silly cans were around me saying things like "gotcha" etc. Well, I didn't feel very got and there was no record of any attack in my log. I can even AFK mine in these guys areas and they don't do anything at all. They have yet to attack me once or do anything besides talk about it in local, endlessly. I think it's really funny they admit they found me helpless and did nothing except leave me silly messages. Without my shield booster going they could have easily killed me.

The members of the corp that found her would have taken the hit from Concorde if they had fired on her. No, wiser heads prevailed and it was dtermined she was not worth the trouble at this time.

Mining in to a jet can is always risky and 'cause you can't shoot the ore thief your giving them a chance to steal your ore. I mine into a jetcan in .6 where I work. It's off the trade & main routes and mainly empty. Haven't had any ore stolen from me because of this.
