Everyone knows you nerfed the drone regions to raise the mineral prices and it has really worked and pretty much stabalized. But I think its time to buff the drone regions a little bit again. The drone regions have no faction items, bps or anything. No officers. No sec status gain. And mediocre bounties. I can make more isk ratting in Foutain because Serpentise are so easy to kill and tank. And make far more isk off the faction bounties, loot, and same with the officers. The salvage is not "That good" to offset the lack of other things in the drone regions. Not to mention the ABSOLUTE lack of any loot at all. Whether it be meta items that can be sold for a decent price in empire. Or lower meta items that can be refined into decent mineral amounts.
About the only thing good in the drone regions is the belt mining. But most people tend to favor the mining sights anyways because it gives them a chance to warp out and not die when they fall asleep. And you can get those sights anywhere. Not to mention you can not have an entire 6 regions full of miners because odds are non of them are willing to pvp to defend their space anyways. Because, well, they are miners.
So the drone regions will never become the Miners paradise that CCP once dreamed of. Because miners are meant to be pets and renters. And mining alone just isn't profitable enough, even now, to warrant entire coalitions fighting for a bunch of carebear miners. So please start working on un-nerfing the drone regions for the rest of us that actually fight for their space and don't have time to 24/7 mine.
P.S. Faction Rouge Drone Dominix would completely make it all worth it ^,^ |

i believe the latest video dev blog stated that officer spawns and more overall pve content would be coming for the drone subcluster in Retribution

beat me to it. i do agree that its about time they got a buff, there are entire constellations there with no sov because nobody wants it
