I know that the beginner ships are supplied endlessly, but are there any other ships that are seeded in the game?
My other question is: How did players get the very first ships in the game, right in the opening day? Nobody had manufactured them already, so were they seeded at first until industry and market got rolling? |

I believe only the ship you start in is supplied for free endlessly. I wasn't around at the start of the game but i'm going to assume T1 Blueprint Originals were available from corps that could be used to create ships just like how it is now. |

No other ships are seeded, shuttle used to be but no longer.
I am a bit hazy but as far as i remember there were no noob ships at first, everyone started in a frig and it snowballed from there. Some may have been seeded, the market was initially seeded with many things including npc buy orders for minerals etc. |

It does not take *that* long to build yourself a frigate and get some mods to drop from NPCs, if that's really your only option. And I would guess at a day at most for people to begin to engage in some serious manufacturing. |

I've been a bit curious about this as well. How were T3 Strategic Cruisers introduced? Were the individual puzzle pieces seeded into the locations they are now and left to be found? How long did it take for the first one to leave the hanger? |

From what I can remember, it's been awhile, noob ships have always seeded. I don't think it was every time you docked in a pod with no ship, but I can't remember. They've always been there though
A lot of the T2 blueprints came from R&D agents. It was a lottery as to whether you were rewarded with them and you essentially got 'tickets' for the lottery by running high level agent missions. This was abolished at some point by CCP and suspect it was because there was a flood on the market.
T3 stuff I believe, although someone could confirm, is partially seeded and partially from BPC's. As far as I know, there are no BPO's for these items but I might be wrong.
There's a few limited edition ships that come from anniversaries and prizes which are fully seeded and worth a tonne (I believe the Caldari State Raven is about 380Bill isk).
A few are listed here and here |

For t3s the only thing seeded we're blueprints for gas refinement as it is now |

I don't suppose you recall seeing your first T3? was it within a week of release or did it take months? |

It was in hours....and it was just the hull with no subsystems and the hull cost like 800 mill alone
It fell off rather quickly though The Drake is a Lie |

It was in hours....and it was just the hull with no subsystems and the hull cost like 800 mill alone It fell off rather quickly though Apocrypha had been on Singulratiy (SiSi) for long enough (months) for people to know what skills they needed, and how to get the other stuff from Sleeper sites.
I started playing EVE about a week before Apocrypha was released, and so I wasn't focused on wormholes. My friend Aandaan that recruited me into EVE was one of those who spent a lot of time on SiSi, and had mastered how to do everything in w-space before it was released on Tranquillity (TQ) [he was positive it was going to be a huge ISK maker, at least at first, and wanted to be in on the leading edge]. I think he had subsystems before success with a hull though.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was an hour before the first T3 hull or subsystem. That would depend upon having many hybrid polymer reaction towers, as they only output once an hour. |

I remember the first t3 hulls were like 1.5 bil. Then you had to buy the subsystems, they were out that week the not the same day that I remember but it was only days later. The biggest problem with wormholes is back then you had to scan down individual combat sites. |

You need to remember people are on sisi figuring it all out for weeks before launch. Many corps had operations just waiting to roll when the upgrade dt ended. First t3s were launched almost as soona s they possibly could be given build times.

There was a rush of blueprints shipped by players from the ORE region to high sec. The first set of ships were built within hours using unresearched blueprints. The cost for the Noctis crashed quickly as supply and blueprint research increased. Within a couple weeks it was available with similar margins as other T1 ships. The same thing happened with the Orca, but at a slightly slower pace because of increased build and research times. |

Way back when Eve was first released the market was partially seeded by CCP and not everything was player created. So i would assume that frigates were seeded by CCP at NPC prices. May be wrong though
Also at one point there were no decimal points after amounts. So tritanium was either 1 isk, or 2 isk, or 3 isk.... etc etc Fun times |

On day one of Eve all ships could be bought from NPC Corps. However, the only ships available then were T1 frigates and T1 industrials.
All other ship types were seeded by random BP drops before most BP types went onto the market.
Now as you pointed out, the only ships that are seeded are the racial rooky ships, and they only ever get 'magically' made whenever you dock in a station in your pod that you do not have any ships stored at
