Eve's final boss is the guristas leader, Korako Kosakami, you can fight him in the system aunenen, if you bring a fully faction fit battleship you will probably be able to beat him. He is at a beacon in space, just jump into aunenen and you can fight him whenever.
If you don't have a battleship currently you could just jump in there to check it out as well.

Do not listen to the above scrubs. The final boss is CONCORD, and to beat him you have to summon him first. Undock from your station, and find someone not doing anything, then shoot them. This will summon CONCORD. Now shoot quick, you only have a little time to kill him. Unsub or don't.-á I don't care what your reasons are, and neither does anyone else.-á Just click the button and go away - or don't. |

His difficulty is scaled lower based on the amount of plexes, 5% reduction in his DPS per plex. Quite ingenious setup actually. |

As EVE Online is a sandbox style game, the 'Final Boss' is only defined by your own dedication and passion.
Do you want to destroy a large alliance? Sure, go ahead and either form your own alliance and fight your opponents or infiltrate the opposing enemies from the inside.
Do you want to become a rich guy and earn a lot of ISK? Why not, let's work forward to that! Trade, build, corner markets and do all these fancy things.
Do you want to set a new record in killing as many pods as possible? Do you want to travel through all the systems in New Eden in a record time? Do you want to be trusted by as many people as possible? Do you want to earn yourself a reputation as master spy?
Only your own imagination and passion sets the limit! And after that you can always come up with something more challenging and exciting CCP Phantom - German Community Coordinator |

Good info, though. Goals in Eve are never really "final", and they're set by the self, not the game or its content or mechanics. Rifterlings - small gang frigate PvP - low/nullsec operations, newbie-friendly, free ship program; Join today! www.rifterlings.com

If you're looking for PvE that scales up to a "final" conflict, try incursions. There's a final site in each incursion that is far harder than the others, and once completed finishes that particular incursion. |

If you have not figured it out yet... you have the idea of this game wrong. The objective here is not to get in the biggest ship you can, and go "raiding"... the objective of this game is whatever you want it to be.
People in this game become famous for things like espionage, killer battlefield tactics, being an excellent diplomat (RIP VR), or loosing it all in some silly incident.
If you rush into the biggest ship you can find, and go try to PVP, or run incursions, or what-have-you... you will be sorely disappointed in the outcome. |

I completely agree that the objetive of the game is not to go find the Big bad NPC and kill it. which personally is the reason i hate games like wow or such, but his question is a valid question that actually even i am curious about. stop putting down others.
personally i fly a lil condor that will soon become a CCP sanctioned Police interceptor and bounty hunter ship!

Eve has no final boss.
You are your own final boss
you need to get rid of that mentality. your course in eve is only decided by you. where you have arrived is a game that is not actually a game. Its just a vast virtual universe. Learn its physics and mechanics and figure out what you can do with it. That is the entire premise of the game. To NOT have a final boss, but instead, create your own end-game based on teh possibilities within the combination of game mechanics and your knowledge of how they work.

All I did was try to help the poor guy understand now, rather than later, that this isn't a traditional MMO by any standards. I said nothing at all derogatory towards him, or his question.
As for bounty hunting, that will be a very interesting thing... especially once they put in bounties for corps and alliances...

Why is that? I'm also new and genuinely curious.
Mainly because some people rush into a bigger ship without getting their support skills up.
Common mistakes:
- Not fitting the right guns. I've seen a battleship using cruiser sized guns - Medium guns instead of large ones - cause he couldn't use the large guns.
- Not fitting the right tank. That same person also used cruiser (medium) sized tanking modules cause he couldn't use the battleship (large) versions.
- Dual tanking. Pick shield OR armor, not both.
Not getting the proper skills for a certain ship means you can sit in it (aka you have the skills to make it your active ship) but you can't properly use it. This just means you think you have a better ship for the job while in fact it's worse then the previous ship and likely will explode soonGäó. All it will do is cost you more money you lost. Inject your skillbook before you leave the station. Neo didnGÇÖt learn Kung-Fu by having it sit in his usb drive.-á If it moves, shoot it. If it doesn't move, poke it with your gun and then shoot it.
