Hello everyone,
Just wanted to let you know that new mobile application ( only for iPhone at the moment, Android version on its way ) has been launched. You can read the app details below and give it a try if you want.
Quote:EVEMine will help EVE Online players, miners especially, to optimize their mining time and in the same time increase the ISK per hour ratio.
The Ore Mining tab will serve for when you're strip mining those pesky belts. Just input your Mining yeld, Cycle time, Lasers used, Asteroid type and quantity and hit Run Calculation.
The Ice Mining tab works a bit different. Input your Cargo space, Lasers used and Cycle time and it will notify you when your cargo is full. This way you can do your AFK jobs and not switch to the game constantly.
Both modules have an audible signal for near completion and full cycle stop.
Version 1.1 is on the approval queue with a few graphic and functionality enhancements. I'll keep this thread updated when it comes out.
There is also a web app that does only the Ore mining part of the mobile app and it works pretty well with the in-game browser.

Upcoming changes in v1.1
New features
- Added a Help & Info panel explaining all the variables of the application
- Changed tab icons to reflect the proper action
- Added a Cancel button appearing during cycle calculation
- Fields are a bit larger for ease of touching
- Asteroid quantity field now resets to empty when touched
Bug fixes
- Fixed a bug causing the timer and progress bar ticking faster if a new calculation was started during an already running one.

- Added new tab "Ore prices" listing mineral prices according to EVE Central mineral feed.
- Added new tab "Ore sheet" calculating your ISK based on the Ore prices tab and quantities you input.

- Background support added to Ore mining. While app is in background, or phone is locked, you will receive an audible alert plus a notification when the asteroid is depleted.
Changes
- Audible alerts are shorter but sharper in sound
- Added clear buttons in the text fields for easier access

v1.3.1 is now live!
We also added a new page to the website called Web Modules that will do the same thing the mobile app does when it comes to Ore mining and Ice mining. It's intended for those that don't have a smartphone or they do but it's a non-iOS device.
