Hanns, you've stated in this thread directly, that you are a pirate. It is a known fact that pirates have lagged the gates with cargo canisters. I would like you to make the direct connection between these two occurances.
1. You posts topic on how you lost a cruiser. (just so I don't have to retype it)
2. A young caldari pilot just fresh out of fleet academy and with his entire savings purchases a brand spankin' new Merlin (don't argue the difference in ship class this is an example). He's over zealous of his new ship and wants to head back home to Dantumi, not up-to-date on pirate activities cause he's been swept up in his studies, doesn't realize Mara and Passari aren't safe. He warps to a jump gate, his systems freeze on trying to register a mass of anomallies, the results start to come in slowly. . .Cargo Canisters show up on the display, then the resounding beep of danger as his ship has been targeted. . .even before the computer fully displays he has been locked his ship is being bombarded by massive amounts of rounds and charges maybe even a missle or two. Next thing he knows he's in a hospital room steping out of a pod stark nekid and devoid of a Merlin.
The pilot here has been victim to an expoit in game. By causing undue lag to the victim, pirates are able to over take his ship in a matter of seconds because his screen is still loading. . .yet he isn't allowed to get his ship back and now pirates are telling him it's part of the game.
What I'm getting at, is basically the same scenerio happens to you. You can't run of fight, just like the newbie pilot. Yet now that you are the victim you claim that the game is at fault and you demand reimbursment for "the games" fault.
If you get reimbursed for this, I think all pilots who lost a ship because of the cargo canister lag exploit should be able to get their ships back. . . it would only be fair since technically neither of you had a chance to run or defend.
Disclaimer: I am not stating that the creator of this thread does or partakes in the previous stated actions, nor do intend to provoke anything. I'm am just merely stating the facts as I see them (which would make it my opinion)
