It's been over six years since I started BSAC but the time has come to close the corporation. Free time to play this game has been rare lately. I would like to thank everyone for supporting BSAC. Liquidation instructions will be posted in a few days. Thanks for your patience.
Best Regards, Block.

Regarding the BSAC Stock, which includes BSAC, BSAMR, BSAMT, Mineral Indices (ISOIF, etc.), and MRD, I will place a buy order as money becomes available. Shareholders will then be able to sell their stock in the Exchange and withdraw their ISK.
The main issue is determining liquidation share price before all minerals are sold. I think most shareholders would agree that selling all minerals to current buy orders is probably not a smart move. Instead, I plan to do a projection on final share price and make an offer in the Exchange. Shareholders can then sell or wait till all minerals are sold.
BSAC stock liquidation, which is the easiest, is now almost complete and I expect to place a buy order this weekend with liquidation price.
Next will be each mineral index. That can take a while in particular the ones I would like to avoid a price loss. I hope that the new patch will help mineral sales.
Once mineral indices are liquidated, I will issue a liquidation price for MRD.
Finally BSAMR and BSAMT will be liquidated.
As you can imagine, this will be a long process with an estimated 3-month completion time.

I think you can find a few people here that would be willing to buy minerals in heavy bulk - No need to rely (and wait) on the market for that I think.
While minor, it would save some market/broker fees as well.

Very good question. My plan is to remain playing eve. I enjoy mantaining the exchange, so it will remain open as long as I'm playing eve. BSAC, the corporation is closing, but the BSAC Stock Exchange will remain open.

Until recently, I had only made deposits to the BSAC exchange and never requested a withdrawl.
All of my funds were returned to me in two withdrawl requests. The first on Oct 26th for the liquid isk in my account. The second Nov 2nd, after I had sold all my remaining BSAC and mineral fund units.
I am sorry to see the mineral funds go away, most of all. I would not hesitate to deposit funds into BSAC again if or when new investment opportunities appear on the exchange.
My best regards to BSAC staff and management,

I would like more stocks to exchange on the Stock Exchange. As far as I am aware, BMBE is the only active stock left on the exchange. With the current state of the secondary market in Eve, that might not be possible if you do not have time to run anything yourself. |

I would like to see the Exchange Shares information being updated, there's a lot of old outdated information.
Would like to see also some more details about each one of the shares and funds that are currently active, for example: Explain what is going on with EMFI, why is there no regular dividend, what is the current status and what perspectives are there for the future... This applies to all Stocks, it would be great if there was from time to time some updated news about them.
Here is an example of what I'm writing about:

The secondary market looks pretty dead right now. I'm buying back all BSAC stocks. Similarly, AATP is buying back its stock. EMFI's CEO has been gone for over two years (or more), so that one is dead too. BMBE is the only "active" stock.
I hope to revive the secondary market by updating the Exchange and trying to convince others to list in the exchange.

Six years in a running EVE (sort-of-)business is an awfully long time investment, congratulations on managing it (more or less) smoothly for this inordinate amount of time. No matter what anybody else might ever say, it's an inspiring achievement, and deserving of remembrance.
Any plans on a different EVE-related public venture, or just laying low and contemplating StuffGäó for a while longer ? I would assume you'll need at least a few months of a semi-break, but anything else lingering in a corner of your mind, possibly to come back to the forefront later on ? I mean, other than focusing on the exchange, that is...
Side-question, will stuff like this: http://www.bsacse.amxg4.com/tools/index.php?id=oreincome stay online for much longer or also have a chance to go down at some later time ? If you ever decide to stop exchange-related work, any chance to push that to somebody else eventually ? http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/User:Akita_T

IGÇÖm looking forward to a long needed break. Will probably lay low for the next few months and finish the buy backs. Most of my big plans are Exchange related, like finalize API support, and fully developing my classifieds sections.
I will continue trading minerals at a smaller scale and hope to develop a more robust system for upgrading prices.
Akita T wrote: If you ever decide to stop exchange-related work, any chance to push that to somebody else eventually ?
I have no plans to stop working on the Exchange, so IGÇÖm not sure what I will do when the time comes for me to stop.

Yes, a very good question. As of today I have about 300+ Billion ISK and about 200 B in minerals. I'm selling the minerlas slowly to avoid crashing the price. There are two options to selling your shares:
1) I buy it right now at 100,000 ISK (IPO). There is a buy order in the Exchange that you can sell to and get your ISK right away.
2) You wait for all minerlas to sell. Projected final price is about 108,000 ISK per share. I expect to be done by the second week of December.
Its your choice.

Yes, the 109,059 order is a buy back offer. I placed four buy orders, 400,000 each, for a total of 1.6 M shares. Presently, 366,728 shares remain in the buy order. Once that order is filled, I will review the price and issue another 1.6 M shares buy back with the updated price.
Please, go ahead and fill the order.
Thanks.

It is a good question.
BSAMR ingame shares are worthless. Please return them to BSAC MMM.
Back in September 2009, when the BSAC Stock Exchange was created, we announced that shares were registered with the Exchange and therefore had no ingame value. We also asked people to return them to BSAC MMM.
The same is true with all BSAC ingame shares; they hold no value.

And when I return them to BSAC MMM this means I'm rich!!!!!
Also, can you tell me if I own any shares of anything on your exchange? Seems at one point there may have been but not sure of the status. |

I just happened to stumble on this thread today after being away from the forums for a while. I invested 50k shared in the MEGIF fund back in June 2009. I logged into the exchange today and was quite surprised to see how many shares I have earned in the last nearly 3 1/2 years.
I will attempt to withdraw sometime soon for the liquidation. I'm hopeful that I can find another extremely long term investment opportunity in the near future. I tend to leave my investments sit for years at a time, any suggestions? |

When will you put up more buy orders?
Currently there's not enough to cover what BMBE has - and I'd like to close out at the end of this month.

I revised the share price of BSAMR and I am happy to say that the final price is higher than the projected price. The final BSAMT share prcie is 111,367.25 ISK.
I updated the orders, so you should have no problem cashing out your shares.

Those are good questions.
I believe those numbers are since last report, which I think it was back in December 2011. IGÇÖll double check tonight. It would probably be best to report since inception.
You can probably ignore idle ISK since it has changed very little since the last report. The withdraw figure only include withdrawals and deposits from characters and not Stocks or Bonds. I believe a big factor in the difference has to do with your Bond. It was improperly recorded in the books. The book entry reads: 2012-11-26 19:50:17 SIRIUS na ISK 0 1 70000000000.00 Withdraw
Therefore the stats code ignores it. In retrospect I should have done a transfer from SIRIUS to Molic Blackbird, and then have you withdrawn it.

That's an impressive amount of public ISK to still have after liquidation. You know to whom the ISK belongs. At this stage, wouldn't it be better to return it to those people?

The figure you calculated is highly inflated as BSAMR Active owns must of the Index shares.
Shareholders must go thru the liquidation process and place a withdrawal request to finalize the process.

I cashed out of the Exchange and received my full investment + the 250% worth of interest and profit the initial investment made over time. Just login to the site, sell any stocks you have and request a withdrawal.
If you can't login and are not sure if you have any ISK in there, I can find out for you. (I still retain my Board of Director access to the Exchange)..
EVE-Mail me and/or Block from the character you would like to know, I will not accept any other character name, you must eve-mail me from the character that has the account on the Exchange. I'll check to see if it has any stocks or cash anywhere and send you a reply. |

ODNT has been liquidated and a final payment has been issued. It's time for investors to cash out!
Don't hesitate to post any questions.
