I think in this scenario you need to be very fast, before reinforcements arrive and extract my tears. Maybe jump in to point first in some sneaky recon ship and then jump in the tear extractor ship. They don't seem to notice when I warp to zero in a faction ship armed to the teeth. The last time I did it it literally took them 3 minutes to notice & I'd already kill their 2 Hulks & had their Orca in half structure. Even when it was about to die they seemed to think I was just messing around. It took the loss of the Orca pilots implants (1bil mindlink) for them to finally notice what I was doing to them. A machariel or Vindi will kill mining ships pretty fast. I just tackle the Orca while killing everything else. Once everything else has left, I switch to killing the Orca & spam D-scan until it dies. You sir are a genious. Solid plan, i will do this. Just need to find some fools i can trick.

Thanks.
That has been tried already multiple times with latest trolling alts.
All that happens is that threads are locked, but the source isn-¦t tackled. The alt is still able to make new threads, or even new alts to continue. Maybe time for some heavier guns to prevent it.
NC Q&A used to be a nice place to hang out on the forums. But the lack of moderation and lack of dealing with obvious alts made it just another GD. So why even bother to help new players anymore when nothing is done to keep it a civil part of the EVE-O Forums. Inject your skillbook before you leave the station. I would disagree with the most do not, but meh I can only go by a few corps so you may be right. The issue is that in order to pull off join a corp and then kill, you need a plan, the OP has no idea how to play eve that alone to make a plan like this. You need to be subtle and likeable. This might be an obstacle, but i can try real hard. Api check can be bypassed, no problem. |

Bah @ suicide ganking, that takes investment and effort to find a target worthy to gank. Just take up cloaking and ECM. Head to 0.0 and lock some passer-by down. When done with that, cloak afk there for two days. Requires no serious investment and no need for a specialized corp. You don't even need to be at the computer. Let the ragequite commence! You could do it in an tengu too, btw. Extra bonus. |

Bah @ suicide ganking, that takes investment and effort to find a target worthy to gank. Just take up cloaking and ECM. Head to 0.0 and lock some local passer-by down. When done with that, cloak afk there for three days. Requires no serious investment at loss and no need for a specialized corp. You don't even need to be at the computer. Let the ragequit commence! You could do it in a tengu too, btw, multi-account with a covert jump portal pilot. Extra bonus and mad tears. With all the tears for nerfs, and ccp starting to listen to some of them, more people should start doing this
Clever idea, i need two pilots to open the portal right and additionally a ship that goes through it? I could camp some system and go as i please with this system. |

True. In any case, you just want it to be known that a cov-ops/black-ops ship is there and afk cloaked, portal generator capable, they will be sleepless for days waiting for an invasion fleet.

An extension of the joining corps to screw with people and make them cry thing is robbing peoples wormholes. Again it doesn't require much in the way of skills (robbing a wormhole basically only requires basic scanning skills and an industrial ship) and can net you a huge quantity of money, people also get very upset about it.
What all the corp related shenanigans do require though is alts. Characters employment histories get screwed up very quickly if you only use one of them so you're best off using them in cycles and leaving them in "fallow" corps for a while, where they either sit doing nothing just to make it look like they've been in a corp for a reasonable amount of time or wait around gaining trust so that they can get POS roles in a wormhole.
There are some additional intricacies to the actual mechanics of killing people you're in the same corp as, but I don't think I'm going to talk about those on the forums. But in the long term if you get really good at making people explode this way people will actually pay you to do it, since wars in highsec stopped being a thing in Inferno the majority of the contracts we get are to kill people in this way, they are also cheap to do, easy and pay better than wars ever did. |

I never really have a plan either, I just roll with it. Ask PsykoticMonk more about it. He's the master of the Safari.

Sorted, someone like to talk eh?
Secondly, the goons don't infuriate me for one. I feel sorry for all people who have to join the biggest baddest gang and stand next to them to feel big. Most goons i see are too young to have been part of anything much aside from "sea of blue" and boring blob fleets. Big props to any goons who actually put the alliance where it is today If you have any further thoughts on something i've posted, or want to ask an unrelated question feel free to contact me by EvE Mail or by private conversation if i'm online. I've done this a lot with a friend, and have been able to join mining corps, just hand-waving our kill-boards having 2 Orcas and 10+ hulks on the first page, all corp-on-corp kills. I explained to one CEO that I was "still training mining, can I help in any other way?" and he invited me to come shoot highsec rats for him as a "security detail" in my Vindicator. It went as predicted.
Highsec mining corps are the worst kind of retards and it's more fun to kill them in hilariously obvious ways, than it is to try to be smart about it; both work equally well. For instance, one character we use has a corp history so long it will take upto a minute to load. In possibly the best example of this, we AWOXed a guy who was livestreaming and watched as he literally gave up trying to get it to load ("I think it's empty, I am his first corp") and accepted the character all the same.
What I'm saying, is ganking a random miner is easy, getting creative and being hilariously bad at it is much, much more fun.

The answer is any ship you can fit both a tank to, and 2+ points and still keep a MWD and decent DPS. Option 2 is to have a second person pretend to be your alt character (HEY GUISE MY ALT CAN COME TOO YA?) and fit a ship with loadsa points to assist. Yes, my Scorpion has 7 points on it.
