I'm wondering is any corp recruiters could recommend how to go about looking for a Corp, specifically with an AU presence. There is the list of notable corps sticked but from what I can see the AU presence is minimal at best. I'm watching the Corp forum and have a post up there, as well as Reddit although there is little to nothing there.
I've joined a couple of the big in game chat channels - Talocan and Wormholes are really the only two I know - and will be asking in there in the next day or two. Is there anywhere else people know of to find active WH corps to try and convince to let me pew with them that you fine folks are aware of?
I know this is going to appear to be a stealth LF Corp thread but there is **** all I can do about that. I just need some tips on looking for and finding the right corp. |

One does not simply ask on the forums.
Yeah, I couldn't resist parodying the ol' LOTR quote. There's a thread for notable WH corps, and some of those have their own application processes to go through. The smaller, starting out corps will also tend to advertise in the corp recruitment chat within Eve, but also check the Eve recruitment section of the forums. Lastly there's word of mouth, which is very important in W-space - you will live and die by your reputation in general, but because of the security issues with WH posses it's just as important to know people and be trust worthy. Build yourself up enough of a reputation and people will even come looking for you. |

Why not try eve mailing some of the AU guys who replied to the last AU/Kiwi WH corp request thread?
You replied to the thread yourself back in August - https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=136437&p=2 |

I'm not sure if they are accepting recruits, but Exceed (NoHo) has a rather large group of Australians. You might want to check that out. |

One must be willing to sever his ties to the k-space and the filth that resides there in order to be eligible to join any of the worthwhile wormhole corporations. Daytrippers and part-timers will be executed. |

No, no, no.... You want to encourage them in with free hugs and coffee, and then execute them. |

This. That's why our wormhole has 25 anomalies in it and an ever open high-sec static. Problem is the Russians are the only ones who ever come in and do them while we're sleeping >_< |

You'll find that moth WH groups will want to recruit you as an AU pilot so they get better TZ coverage. AHARM are also currently recruiting AU TZ.
That said, all large WH corps have lowest activity in the AU TZ, that's just the way it goes for us unfortunately. |

I deliberately haven't posted them here because I don't really want this forum to turn into a LF Corp forum. That being said, I made the decision a few months ago to round out my Tengu skills to really make that bird sing for me before cross training other T3s. I'm now regretting it greatly as I seem to miss most corps requirements. That will change in 44 days, 11 hours, 57 minutes and......47 seconds.
This, it appears, shall be my purgatory for poor decisions past.
Never-the-less, the search continues. Thanks for the leads folks, it is appreciated.

A good corp finds you im afraid.
Either that find a friend or get to know someone in a WH corp, even one that is not recruiting and you might get in. |

Yeah, I've noticed the Russians. Five out of the six wormholes this week have involved Russians this week. In fact "Bloody Russians" is trending high in corp. 25 anomalies is fine for griefing newbies, but it's a pain in the arse to scan out when you're looking for a HS. |

Normally I do a scan till I find the signal type and then put it on ignore, unless there's a handful of signatures. Then I tend to scan to 100% for the sakes of potentially ganking someone doing mining or such. Nearly happened once too, except by the time I swapped out and got back in with something shooty someone else had killed the Hulk. |

I'm talking about filtering Cosmic Signatures (wormholes, sites) from Anomalies. Those can be filtered without scanning them at all, it helps a bunch if you want to ignore all anomalies and focus on Cosmic Signatures. |

Yeah we don't have anomalies on our signature scan filter. We clear mags/radars to get rid of bonus sigs. |

Find the wh corp you want to join, it's easy... use "EveWho" add them to watch list find some active players and do character locators until you get the wh location. Find them and their wormhole.
Go in and let them kill you. Then convo the guy who killed you and butter him up. Now, you've established a connection and a reason why you're interested.
How many of you wh spacebears were killed first by the corp that introduced you to wormholes? Well, I know a lot of people, including myself who have killed people then let them play with us/them, also happens through wars in hi sec/null and low.
Don't smack try to have fun and realize most of these guys take themselves way too seriously so be patient.
advice: once you get roles DO NOT steal from them it's bad karma , also DO NOT bring more than you are able to lose (cause some of these douchebags will just steal your ****)
have fun, goodluck and hit me up if you need help once you get in their wormhole likes watching grown men cry-á (Gò»n+¦Gò¦,) |

Our Aussie recruiter is also looking in the kiwi language channel I believe. Outside of going to extremes, you could also just try joining the public corp channels and gauge activity there? EVE Stratics! Managing Editor Interviews, News, Guides, Reviews, free forums and more! @EVEStratics |
