I've been pretty inactive for a while, but the itch has been returning to try to return to 0.0, at least partially. To participate in medium to large fleets and fights, and to prepare for the hopefully soon(tm) to come starbase revamp (getting images of unimatrix zero!).
I've tried solo'ing in hisec, but found it to be boring. Wormholes aren't really soloable past class 2 or 3 either, though i'd like to do those aswell - I was in a class 5 for a while years ago, which was fun while it lasted.
Most important though, i'd want to feel part of a big alliance again and jump into a large fleet fight from time to time.
I can fly pretty much everything with level 5 skills if it concerns guns - I can use all missiles, though my skills there are a bit lacking as my t2 skills are mostly still at level 2. The only things i can't fly yet is carriers, motherships and titans. I do prefer frigs though, especially if i'm required to be somewhat self-sufficient, as making money isn't exactly my strong suit >_>
I've got 154m sp (just a couple of level 5's spread out over almost every skillgroup). I've been in 0.0 alliances before, though that experience has wavered a bit, i'm pretty much a newbie in the current state of EVE. I will ask questions.
The corp i'm looking for ideally has around 50 members at least. I'm pretty casual - Getting one full evening per week would be somewhat optimistic for me, so i don't really want to log in on that one nght i got the time to play and find no one online. The corp also has to be honorable in it's play - Pirates or not. The members have to be honorable and friendly, i'm not looking for Call of Duty style griefer corps, if you get what i mean. No scamming either. I've never griefed or scammed anyone since i started playing and i intend to keep it that way, as should my fellow corpmates.
I'd like to be able to join medium-large scale PvP, but not to be forced into it. Higher class wormholes are also very welcome. The most important thing here is 'group activities with a bit of risk. EVE's the most fun with (lots of) other people! I'm not afraid to lose my ship and the most fun PvP is when you've got even numbers or are even outmatched - Only pvp'ing when vastly outnumbering your opponent is bloody boring. That said, my clones cost a hell of a lot nowadays so i'm going to try to be careful regardless >_>
I'm more than willing to help out industrially aswell where needed, building stuff, maintaining pos or just mining and hauling. Anything for a change of pace! If PvP is the only activity, my experience is that most of the time is spent looking for a fight rather than actually fighting, so the corp has to have other things to do aswell. This is also due to me having somewhat limited time, so when i log on i have to be able to have some fun or at least be useful in some way :) |
