R&D agents, and you dont get one just because you work for one, you might get one if you are lucky, and it might take years before you get one. Its a lottery after all

ya, that i know, i just wasnt sure if you get BPOs from R&D agents exclusively. Do they also give out T1 bpos or only T2? (from what I've read on the forums so far)

T2.
T1 are purchased from NPC's on the market. Frig BPO's cost millions of Isk, Crusiers tens of millions and BS hundreds of millions.

Corps used to give out BPOs, but I haven't seen any since Exodus was released.
They would give out BPOs as a bonus. Nothing really big though, mostly ammo BPs. They would give a BP that cost about as much as the mission reward.

Got a support cruiser bpo from Ishukone, which is strange considering it's a Lai Dai machine and all that...

I've seen some of those t1 bpo prices on unresearched bpos for BS's. I gotta wonder how those who research those bpos would EVER get the cost of the lab slot rental plus the unresearched bpo cost back...ever...given bpc prices not really being "all that" unless you have a "chosen" bpo like Raven etc.
