I want whatever ceptor Corvus Dove is talking about that can use a disruptor, scrambler and mwd at the same time while firing guns! you definatly cant do it with the malediction thats for sure.

@Corvus Dove: I am well aware that I am always at risk in Eve, and i'm ok with that. I agree that if I want to be really save i have to stay in 1.0 (or for the sake of pk's, above 0.4 i guess). But if I go further I want to prepare myself for what's out there, because I won't give my hard-earned ship away too easily. I guess you do that too.
Some wondered about my petition..
What I petitioned for is balance, not security or a change of the way the game runs. I found that as it is now gives the bad guys (pk's) more of the cake then the good guys. At least that's how it looks to me currently. You can convince me otherwise with good arguments.
I heared of that patch but could not yet find out the details of how it is now (calculactions and rules) and how it is going to be then. Can you give me a link for details on this?

On that ceptor, MWD to the target, turn it off, and coast past your target in an oblique line. It'll give you some of the MWD speed while providing the cap to fire the scrams. Then drop one scram and keep using the other; you can kick the MWD back on then: as long as your other, lower cap scram is running your enemy will likely give up even trying to warp because he's too busy screaming for help in his corp chan. I've seen it work.
As for balance, I'd say it's fair the way it is, and if anything the fitting requirements for the scram should be nerfed lower to allow you to fit as many scrams as your enemy can comfortably fit WCS.
Here's the balance: 1 warp dis = 1 wcs. 1 warp scram = 2 wcs, etc. The pirates are about as happy giving up midslots for tanking or MWD to fit the scrams as you are giving up expander space for the WCS. This is one of those cases that the best sign a module has reached balance is that both sides are *****ing about the same about it. "You Griefer!!!" = "You Doodyhead!!!" |
