Nope, I'm fairly certain I'm creating this topic because you are the member of a backstabbing alliance who treads on smaller renter alliances in your care and leave them to rot, roaming scalding pass taking pot shots at the capital ships hugging our station whilst your 'allies' burn on the battlefield. |

Cabal Prime wrote:Alphea Abbra, I'm fairly new to the game. I've been playing since late January or early February. A few months back, SCU joined up with **** and moved down to one of the 2 systems that **** owned while filling contracts for AAA for fuel and other things. When AAA started losing their systems in the area, we first were going to move to LGK as we were told by AAA leadership. Then, our leaders saw that Cascade Imminent was failing and hemorrhaging members and corps. So, our leaders sent an expedition to Cascade space and found a couple of nice systems. It was decided to see about taking those over as Cascade Imminent no longer seemed to be active. For weeks, we had people in those two systems and the surrounding Cascade Imminent systems hoping to find someone there to tell us that they were active. Suddenly, after about 2 or 3 days of us hitting the systems, a member of AAA ORDERED our people there to take down the SBUs and was referred to a specific **** leader: Jaydn Remko as he handles diplo. The sad part is less than 24 hours later, we were reset from blue with AAA to red and a AAA alt in Cascade Imminent kicked us out of all of Cascade Imminent stations. The sad part is that we have always been quite reasonable in our dealings with AAA. They are the ones that failed to let us know what they were planning until AFTER we had already invested time, ships, and equipment in taking those two systems. And, instead of maintaining our former level of relations where we helped them with fuel, other contracts, and combat, while we maintained 2 systems in AAA space; they are more interested in taking two systems by force than in friendship. That is what makes this such a backstabbing move by them. We did not know about the ties to Cascade Imminent until they ORDERED us to stop what we were doing as they never let anyone else know what their plans were.
When you dropped your own SBU's without being instructed to do so you took upon yourself the role of conquering space holding alliance. When you are a renter you do what you are told in the systems you are told to do it in. You don't go off making decisions for yourself.
You SBU'd a system you were incapable of holding on your own. You chose, for yourself, to go and attempt to conquer your own space and you failed.
That there is pretty much the end of the story. |

This thread is not simply to do with this issue, I believe I have mentioned that simply because of this one alliance who laid sovereignty blockade units and were wrong does not justify the manner in which the vast majority of renters and so called 'allies' have been treated. I'd be baffled at the suggestion that all renters or allies have performed actions that warrant what I discussed at the beginning of this thread.
Pointing out that one alliance did a stupid thing and got reset does not explain the other numerous alliances who have experienced the same, or considerably more baffling treatment. |

I'm responding to a specific instance brought up by Cabal Prime. Discussing generalizations on how AAA (or any organization) acted in a time of war to the way one would hope a perfect utopian AAA would be like arguing with a creationist in a round-the-bout, he said, but she said and I think thatGÇÖs just dumb.
For this specific instance; in a perfect world there wouldn't have been any reason for AAA to step up and deal with the Space Cowboys SBUing FAIL, as FAIL would have pushed the Cowboys **** in themselves and they would have still found themselves reset, quicker most likely, for being a renter corp that dared to drop SBUs in allied space. AAA deals with its renters as any other major SOV holder would/does. They are 'fair' until you screw up or you are perceived to have screwed up at which point they become over the top Assholes.
As for not GÇÿinvitingGÇÖ you to join them in NPC space, IGÇÖm not sure there is way to respond to that, that wouldnGÇÖt come off as snarky so IGÇÖm not. In their withdrawal AAA has reacted the way that any organization that faced with a defeat must. They place their primary concern with that of their own people and allow/expect renter corps to do what renter corps will do. Go rent from the Alliances that won.
And to be straight with WarFireV; people don't keep making these topics because they love AAA. They are making these topics because there is a giant on the field thatGÇÖs injured. When the strong are vulnerable the jackals will feed and AAA should be wary of responding in any way to ****** threads that start off by making comparisons of internet gaming clans to third world governments.

I like the way mittens website put it: When you(-A- and their forum posting alts lol)crap all over your allies, be generally bad at PVP, ship toast on the forums, local smack like you're ~elitepvp~, and then have Makalu saying "You don't talk back to triple A", and finally are getting camped in station in Stain, it's time to disband your alliance, take a break, and think about how all the time you've spent both being terrible at something and acting like you're hot ****.

-A- have survived in the past, fleeing to NPC space, but with HBC hot on their heels and scorching all the earth available to them, their survival as a cohesive alliance is unlikely, given that their ruthless tactics and flagrant disregard for their allies garners them little to no respect.
I for one am awaiting the fall of Triple A with bated breath and plan to celebrate their destruction. They sewed the seed, people....let them reap the rewards.

They're not. They haven't been winning anything for a while.
It's funny - since they dropped a huge chunk of their USTZ, the number of people who have rushed to get off of -A- fail train has been amazingly small - only thirty odd people have left, in addition to the ~750 people who went with BUSA and the other USTZ corps.
Maybe they're all suffering from battered wife syndrome, maybe they have no where else to go (after all, who will accept someone who used to be part of -A-?). But what I'm seeing is that -A-'s membership is remarkably resilient, given that they've been reduced to ratting in Stain. |
