What is the current situation with the merge?
I know I have been gone a while, but I did not see any announcement yet in this forum. I went back a few pages.
(AFDT) Aggressive Faction Defence Technologies is supposed to be merging with (BIG) Big Corporation, but have not seen the details of why a merge and what benefits each brings to the table.
The way I read it (in private chat) was that AFDT was folding into BIG which will make BIG bigger and AFDT no more.
Anyone have a link to more information or a way to search the forums to find this information?
A quick update would also be ideal if a link is not easily found on this information.

These corps no longer exist as FA was defeated last week, 2 weeks ago, 7 hours ago, 46 days ago, 2 months past and 13.5 times from chrismas to now...
Check the past forum pages... the proof is right there...

Please, only reason FA is alive is CCP doesnt have the tools ingame to destroy an alliance. Our corporation an field more pilots than your alliance can for fighting. During the U.S. evening hrs we had to resport to mobile warp bubbles at stations. Don't pat yourselfs on the back and admit you got own'd.

I think you touched upon the problem right there; timezones. As far as I know, the FA is largely EU. During the time I was an auxiliary for FA, I noticed that when the US players are usually asleep, FA fleets had a tendency to roam freely. When EU was usually hitting the sack or at work, Shinra seemed to have the upper hand.
