It seems like repairs are broken - they do not persist through a save. I have a few percent structure damage. I can repair it and it shows up fine in game. Log out, log back in and the damage is back. I can dump an inifinite amount of money down this hole with no affect. The same is happening to a corp-mate.
Anyone seen this? Is there a work around?

This is the supposedly fixed armour bug. You have to undock or dock/jump before armour/structure is saved. Works the other way as well, relog without docking/jumping if you have taken a beating and you're fine when you log in.
Seems someone over at ccp have to change the patch notes.

I think the repairs themselves don't save if you have any low level slots that either raise or lower your Armor or Structure.
Either way, definetly a bug. ------------------------------------------- If you kill them, they will die!

The only permanent fix I have found for this is to "repackage" your ship.
This seems to reset it and get rid of whatever bug is causing the repairs to not stick.

I have fixed all the repair bugs I could find yesterday and the fixes should be out in the next patch.
The cases I found where your repairs would not save are: - When you repair and then swap ships making another one active. All repairs just made will be lost. - When you repair and then disconnect.
If you undock after repairing, it should save. When you do your repairing in a station, do it in one where there are other players logged on and docked, there might be a bug where repairing and undocking where you are the only player in a station will result in those repairs being lost.
Sorry for the inconvenience, this annoyance should be a distant memory after the next patch.
If anyone thinks they know of any other cases I have missed, please feel free to mention them. -- Richard CCP Programmer. Anything said above is not the official line, but my own take or opinion. |

Nice to see a DEV actually respond to a message.

They do respond when they are not jumping through thier ass trying to fix the major bugs like the recent weapon damage things. Now they are reading the boards and seeing what our biggest concerns are, as they should.
They don't really have to respond to every post. Just mine :)
Which leads me to the question. A stock market's purpose is for corporations to get start up capital. Well, most of the huge corporations are already built up and don't require that anymore, can we get it implemented soon? That, some tech level 2 blueprints and stations?

Yesterday, i had the following experience with repairs. This is concerning the repair of damaged light/medium scout drones and not the repair of my ship
I repair my damaged drones, i undocked and then docked again. Then i re-logged and the damage on the drones had returned !!
I found a way around it:
Repair the damaged drones and then repackage them, then i put them back into drone bay
