I always thought that a empty escrow was some sort of scam that some ahole managed to find a way around.
Now i set up a escrow with two bpo's and they show up as empty.
WHY!?

hopefully, (allthough still not a good thing) it's a graphical bug of some sort, I'd petition it if I were you.

In my experience, empty escrows are generated when you try to sell a zero run blueprint copy, as one of the anti-scam measures introduced a while back.
Are you sure you put up BPOs, and not expired BPCs?
Just cancel it and see what you get back. If they are BPOs, submit a bug report, and put them back up as it'll probably work this time. If they are expired BPCs, problem explained :)

it also happens with unresearched BPOs, not just empty bpcs

Hey - you learn something new every day :)
Guess it makes sense - you can sell unresearched on the market.
Come to think of it, they should make it so that anything that you can sell on the market can't be put on general Escrow. The exception to this rule should be if you Escrow to an individual, you can put anything, so you can do transfers between characters.
That way everyone would have to pay the taxes.
