It would be nice - But doesn't make too much of a difference to me. I will just kill a rat later in system if I have to. Either pre-emptily engage and take a hit, leave or wait until they are ontop of you in optimal. But I would not complain if the moment I'm in plex a neutral could engage me without losing Sec status and I could do the same. -Shrug- |

yes, make alt instead of bringing main. makes sense since most likely 300 people in your alliance aren't on when i'm on. so i agree with route of bringing your alt. |

I can go with the probe requirement. But not for just "nuetrals" - but everyone.

I can go with the probe requirement. But not for just "nuetrals" - but everyone. Memories are short, eh? We did the whole probe for plexes thing and it resulted in most ships being partially PvE fit .. a tendency that will be magnified by attackers not being able to refit in system due to dock-blocking.
Also, CCP have shown interest in the idea of having some sort of announcement system for when plexes are being captured, so not only will they be overview the second warp is engaged but chances are people elsewhere in WZ will soon know where you are.
Besides, we want the neutrals to come in and die in a fire. Only hurdle is really that they get a huge leg up since many FW monkeys don't have logistics alts so can't afford tanking sec too much making shopping a nuisance. |

ok, just to throw this out there. In addition to the fact that this change is unnecessary (it is and you are just being a baby if you cant deal with it) it would personally **** me off (i know you care xD).
I rolled caldari and amarr militia for something like a year after moving out of wormhole space. Occasional mission running and plexing (before it was cool) got my faction standing up mighty high with both factions. More important was the availability of fw agents for locating.
Ever since dropping fw and going full pirate my faction standings have stayed in place but my corp standings are now all -10 simply because i shoot fw members. I will never be able to re-enter fw on this character because of it. The only thing i have earned for being decorated with the top rank in each militia is the ability to move freely in amarrian and caldari plexes without rat aggro. And seriously, its not like we need any more things working against us. Pirates are the most disenfranchised group in eve, despite the popularity of the title. Low-sec Best-sec |

You can try to make your portrait identical to your current one on marketjacker if you'd like. Another option, if "THE PEANUT GALLERY" is taken, is to make a character called "DUMBASS HIGHSCHOOLER WHO LISTENS TO DUBSTEP AND CRIES ABOUT LOSING A TENGU, BUT RARELY LOSES THEM BECAUSE HE EJECTS FROM THEM INSTEAD SINCE HE THINKS A TENGU LOSSMAIL IS THE END OF REAL LIFE AS HE KNOWS IT". I love pirate tears.
In short, you do not favor a mechanic that will not impact you in any way because you feel it will be 'unfair' on your delicate, disenfranchised pirate sensibilities that your not-yet-outlawed companions lose an advantage.
Outlawed pirates are one thing, but everyone else who intends to hunt FW folks in their complexes are a problem.
Why is this? Well, when they enter your complex, you have three options;
A) Attack first if the fight looks winnable and accept your sec-status hit. You will then have to either deal with your slow decline into outlaw status or spend a large amount of your time grinding missions/ratting to get it back up - this costs you time you could have spent fighting in FW instead, so it impacts your play-style.
B) Do not attack first and accept that the neural non-outlaw now has a tactical advantage on you - he/she get's to attack or not based entirely on if THEY think they can take you. Either that, or do whatever else they want, like get in position to RR one of your militia's enemies, on their way to the same complex. Oh and, they also got to scout it before entering, so that's great too. In other words, you have surrendered your initiative and your new guest can do whatever they want on their terms.
C) You warp out to avoid options A or B - thus losing your complex and having your activity affected by a random non-FW visitor.
This created a lose/lose/lose situation for the FW player, when instead the complex could be considered military space and thus restricted. Entering despite that restriction makes you a TRESPASSER inside military property and should thus flag you as suspect.
This means that anyone that enter a complex and is not allied to the occupants becomes a legitimate target to the FW player(s) inside; either you are a hostile FW enemy, an outlawed pirate you can shoot anyway, or a random neutral that went somewhere he should not, even ignoring a pop-up upon entering that stated he/she entered a restricted area and could/would be fired on. (Assuming this mechanic is implemented and a warning pop-up shows up, much like the low-sec warning and so on.)
Ofc, feel free to ignore non FW blues who get flagged just like people ignore their flagged, blue pirates. This would make life much more tolerable for the non-pirate FW members.

Actually I would really like to have "Suspect" status on everyone entering a FW plex (including FW members). It would increase overall amount of PvP as neutrals who are looking for fights can try it on FW plexes without getting standing loss also. And fights within plexes will be on fair ground for faction militia members too.
More PvP better low-sec I say :) |

More PvP better low-sec I say :) as neutral entering a plex you have the intention to kill and are ready to take gcc as penalty. If you are in militia you primarily care about wartargets and try to avoid gcc if possible. Those are two different motivations. I wouldn't have a big problem with being a suspect when entering a plex as militia member but that does not make much sense. a eve-style bounty system https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=359105 You fail you fail you fail you fail you fail you fail you fail to jump because you are cloaked |

Suspect flag is an easy solution for all non-faction pilots. Add some warning text on the gate for them. It doesn't make sense for you to wander into an active warzone and still pretend to be harmless and neutral |

One person can do it, or 500. The counter is static so it does not change based on people there. Of course, if a defender and atacker are there, it will not count. You must not be searching hard, I found that info when looking on the EVE wiki page for FW. Once completed it disappears. Again, on the wiki.
