Haven't checked with mine. I'll look tonight cause I am going to test a PDU II and a gyro II low slot set up on it tonight and see what happens. If it can maintain it for even two minutes I'd be happy. All I know is that I can run the current set up infinitely which is why I'm happy with it.

as I like to say, the T2 280mm is the heaven's lil' big gift to frig pilots. When they hit.. they hit hard... and i mean REALY hard. -------------------

Edited by: Damien Vox on 07/04/2005 22:26:32 Yes...yes they do hit hard indeed. Just trying to find that nice balance. I may have found it with 4 280 II's, cap battery II, cap recharger II and 2 PDU II's but we'll see. I figure if your running 280 II's you don't need infinite tankage, just a tank that can last a while if need be.
Epofhis, if you don't want to expose the set-up just eve-mail me it.

Just to reinforce my point again, T2 250 with gyroII=9.99dmg T2 280 with gyroII = 14.2 damage. so 280T2 do lot more damage, and no mater how you fit 250II it cant come even close.

Ur missing the point. You cant fit 280d + gyro 2, as you need the gyro IIs lowslot for a micro aux.

My wolf setup has a gyroII... I did it by swaping one of the T2 280 for a 280 scout. Id take 3x280 II + 1 280 scout + 1 gyro over 4x250 II + 1 gyro. you only lose a fraction of the DOT you would loose by going to all 250s, I think, and it leaves enough room for a T2 small rep and a 32% hardener of some kind, or a cap relay if you're worried about cap.
As for counting reloads into DOT... tbh I rarely get into a situation where I need to reload... usually either you are dead, your target is dead, or its pretty damn obvious who's gonna win reloads or no, at least in my experience

It's called "low security space" for a reason. |

Yes you can it's easy.... Like I said previously the wolf is a damage dealer if you want any defence it should be a stop gap to keep you in a fight for a few more seconds - NOT A TANK!!!

That would be your opinion Dai'mon. Your entitled to it though I know the majority of wolf pilots and those who fly AF's would think not tanking a wolf is a rather large waste of time and isk.
I worked lastnight on some stuff and finally put together a set-up that will run for 4-5 minutes using both an active hardener and a small tech 2 rep with 280 II's. My problem was I was using a Cap II and a Barton before, I switched to a F-b10 and even the 2.75% made a difference, a big one.
The mids are a Cap II and at least a 17% cap recharger along with a PDU II in the low. You need the RCU in the last slot but you can run it all and it will run for at least 4-5 minutes. I prefer this over any 'pure damage' set up simply because I don't feel like wasting a ship just to deal out 10 more HP per hit.
