The Ushra'Khan would like to make it known that our presence in Molden Heath is not as a police force. We are not the Republic Fleet and have neither the resources or manpower to provide effective security such as Concord does. The security of a region the majority of our pilots and families call home is important to us and we do dedicate resources into patrolling the area and combating pirates and slaver gangs.
However, we make no unrealistic promises that we can provide security round the clock nor would we try to. Our primary goal is the freedom of our people; we lay no claim to space and have survived through our ability to move in the shadows. It is important the people who travel to Molden Heath are aware there are risks when entering any region not patrolled by Concord.
Recent press articles would have you believe we are failing in such a role. I would refute such claims by asking those who live in or have ever once operated in Molden Heath to look at the growth in the region. Once desolate and home only to pirates through time the Ushra'Khan and its members along with many residents of the region have seen a rapid growth in trade and activity in the area over the past year. One has only to look at the booming market to see the results of the combined efforts of the free people and the numbers of corporations whom call Molden Heath home.
On the long term, we have slowly but surely increased security and growth in the area but we are always plagued by the nuisance of pirates or slavers. A night does not go by where our patrols are not engaging or camping pirates, the success of the region has also come at a price, more rogue pirate elements have been increasingly attracted into the area from Force of Evil alliance corporations to Beer and Kebab corp most recently. The alliance has decided to increase resources into combating these newcomers. The results of which should be more obvious soon as several wings are being called home.
The Ushra'Khan are increasing communications between other corporations or people who live in the area in order to ensure intelligence of known pirate camps and positions are freely available so they can be avoided and we encourage any good resident of Molden Heath to contact us so that proper secure channels can be set up between us for a better future.

So, moving in the shadows is announcing your location for all your enemies to see?
Smooth, real stealth that.
Ah one of our enemies comes out to tit-a-tat. Our presence in Molden Heath has never been a secret and we make no attempt to hide our numbers there. It was a tactical choice we made early on to take the focus away from our more sensitive operations.

Originally by: Rhyn Taril While I remain opposed to the senseless fractionalization of my Matari brethren, I applaud your efforts to secure Molden Heath from hostile entities. I can only hope that these policies don't extend to non-aggressive traffic throughout Molden Heath, there is a difference between protecting the innocent and guarding territory.
No, we are not territorial, people are free to operate in MH as they please. Only if you are a one of our enemies, a pirate or attack one of our members or allies will you not be welcome.

UPDATE
We have upped the tempo on regional defence operations targeting known pirates. This new campaign has met with success which has thus far seen the Ushra'Khan declare war on known pirate corp Sybrite Inc whom had declared on a number of MH residents and had been plaguing the area for some time.
Within the last 48 hours, this new offensive has seen the destruction of two pirate ravens, two thorax class cruisers and two harpy assault frigate along with a rupture from another unrelated pirate.
Whilst the increased presence of Ushra'Khan ships in the area is allowing us to secure the space lanes to some degree. We ask all pilots in the area to maintain a high alert for Beer and Kebab, MaYhem Syndicate and Sybrite Inc corp pilots along with a host of other known individuals.

I find it strange, that you call SF enemies, when you are seen on joint operations inside Emperial space, against the CVA, not more that three days ago.
Unless a satisfactory response is forthcoming, I shall have no option but to upgrade Star Fractions status, from pirates to terrorists.
Star Fraction are made up of a number of corporations, we call Omerta Syndicate and Throne Worlds Church of Sin and Absolution our enemies. However for those who have long enough memories, Jericho Fraction were amongst the first to declare war on slavery against the Praetorian Guard. Our pilots are free to operate with corporations within Star Fraction if there is a purpose to it and most certaintly never with the pilots of Throne Worlds Church of Sin and Absolution.
What you choose to label Star Fraction, I care not, we care less about the numerous labels you have so often to pin on us so I doubt they would give 2 isk for such either.

It is not your duty to provide routine security. It is not your duty to be police officer, judge, and executioner within that area. If it was you'd "spend all your time on the judge's bench with a silly wig on rather than off freeing slaves" would you not?
Re-read my original communique and in there you will see quite clearly that we do not claim the space nor do we consider it our protectorate. While we maintain a presence there we will make efforts to drive out unsavory elements but we make no claims that it is as safe as the concord protected zones you idle in.
And yes, this message was intended at the general residents of Molden Heath to begin a process of increased security and intel sharing and not at the various tabloids.

neutral - wake up valentine. Those neutral pilots supply a regieme that enslaves your people but what do you care? Those same neutral pilots agree to aid the CVA and those same neutral pilots have us as KoS.

Yes, the CVA are one arm of a nation that continues to enslave our people, but surely our principles and the freedom fighters very reason for action should not be lost due to mere bloodlust and vengeance?
Its easy to comment from the sidelines isn't it. We do what we must to achieve our goals. We are not knights in shining armour. We kill to free our kind. Make no mistakes on this notion. We will not spend many hours on propaganda like the CVA to make themselves look good. We do our duty and that is it.

yes, well continue to look after yourself, its what your good at.

The term is terrorist by the way if you want to label us. Pirates destroy for treasure and isk and do not care about their targets. Our targets are chosen because of what they are and who they are defined by their actions.
I request this communication be locked as its orignal purpose has been lost to a war of egos.
