So I started this game a couple of hours ago and did something wrong...
after completing the first stage of the tutorial, I warped to the Royal Amarr Institute, like I'm supposed to.
But someone invited me just then to come meet him at this asteroid belt, which I did... no problem there.
While I was there I mined some concentrated Veldspar.
He asked me to guard this container he jettisoned (sp?) and I did, while he ferried the contents back to base. This resulted in me being too late to dock before the server went offline.
Anywho, when the server got back up, I joined the server and my ship immidiately warped to the RA Institute. When I got there and docked, it started the "reprocess" tutorial bit. And there it went sour...
I couldn't complete it, because I jettisoned the Veld needed for the tutorial. So I went back out and got some more veld...
Back inside and the tutorial still wouldn't budge... I just couldn't complete that part...
So I ended the tutorial and restarted it through the Agent... the first part (in space) is no problem, but when I dock it doesn't start the station tutorial. It just only shows the text of being accepted for assurance, but won't progress anymore to the reprocess part.
I tried this twice and, no change.
Any ideas how to let the tutorial continue?
I don't want to make a new account, cause I got 1.000.000 isk from that dude for guarding his container....
I'll try emptying my hold completely...

Actually this is not that long =p
After a reset of the server all missions are reseted aswell. Have you tried talking to your agent and seeing if you can accept the missions again?
There might also be a flag option that you need to reset so that the tutorial starts again. This I cannot check for you since I am not online or able to go online in eve.

well, I tried it for the fourth time now, but to no avail.. cleaned out my cargo hold...
yeah, I can accept the same mission again, but I'd like to know what I missed if I skip to that mission.
where could I check this flag option?

go to ur eve folder on ur computer, rename the cache folder to cacheold or sommat. Restart eve. it should auto restart the tutorial. If you have any problems, delete the new cache folder and rename the old back to just cache.
This is the only way i can think of that will restart it

I dont know for sure but if you press escape you get an option screen, there could be a checkbox there. Something else that you might wanna do is build a new character on your current account.
You keep your old and you just run the tutorial with your new. Else I cannot help you without geting online.
The part you might miss is the part were you are told how to refine. Its stuff that you dont "need" to know to play the game but it might be worthwhile making a second character on your account.
That will also teach you what an alt is =)

haha, yeah I now finally know what alt means... first thing I asked in the game... :D
I'm trying the cache thingy now...
and I couldn't find a checkbox about the tutorial.

Hmmm - I have seen a "warp to tutorial" option whilst right clicking in space ..... <sadly> I didnt take note of what I was clicking on ...

when you start out you can always warp back to the tutorial/starting coordinations.
It's working now, btw... deleting the cache folder worked like a charm. Thanks for the tip, Eyeshadow! And of course everyone else!
