Hi.
I saw few threads all around regarding the new features comming with the patch tomorrow but i didn't saw any information regarding the small POS.
It will be possible to do moon mining? Their run costs will be little more acceptable?

1/4 of the fuel costs, 1/4 of the cpu/power and, AFAIAA, 1/4 of the speed of a large POS. You'll be able to moon mine with it, albeit slowly, and not much else at the moment.

Its used as a highly portable POS. Moon mining will probly the largest use for it, then after that maybe a base of operations for invasion fleets and such.

The fleet thing could be interesting. 2 haulers could bring in ,say, small Amarr control tower + 3 large pulse batteries + fuel for 12 hours of operation (that's just 3 cycles worth and all). Can pop it down and anchor it in 7.5 minutes,another for onlining it and defenses should be online in about 45 minutes from arrival (still a tad slow,maybe). Amarr with those lovely 50% range and 25% damage bonuses to laser batteries (and more powergrid than other smalls) should work nicely.

i set up a small caldari tower... 4 small rails, 4 launchers.... hired a small starting corp to try and take it out... best funa rich man can have :D

humm but what use do you have of a buble with 8 guns for a small corp, are you pirate or head hunter ? :)

neither... trying to have a POs expeience with a poor budget. its funa dn im getting used to it... i plan on upgrading but i just blew the 800m i had on a few things and i had 45m to spare after. Me and some friends from work are just making fun out of it.some poor bastard warped to it in a rifter like 15min ago and he got ownd. i reinbursed him for his lose cause he was a noob... im not out to kill anyone :)
