I don't mean the most powerful ships you use, I mean the ones you enjoy the most. For looks, amount of fun flying them, whatever.
First being your favorite..

1. The Raven. Not for it's (impressive) power but I just love the way it looks.
2. The Arbiter. Flying one of these around low-sec space now. Not all that powerful (two turrets and a missile bay) but it looks good and the cloud of drones is great fun.
3. The Megathron. I'd never fly one of these in a combat situation since it's seriously underpowered when put against teh Raven or Apoc but it just looks fantastic.
I also desperatly want a cruiser or BC that looks like the Amarr shuttle.

Raven, hardly ever fly them anymore but it's still my favourite ship.
Harpy, just an awesome AF, and I like the rotating things  .
Punisher, don't know why I've just always loved that frig.

1. Kestrel. My first survivable frigate, I came to love my kestrel in ways illegal in 3 regions, and used it exclusively for quite a long period of time. I see this as the ultimate frigate of war, and treat it with the reverence of such.
2.Bestower. For my first time ever, I felt uber in this ship, all the cap power bars, all the slots, all the HP, and when you're used to flying an ibis or griffen, that's a big thing. It also helps that I see it as the best bang for yoru buck indy there is and use it exclusively as my industrial of choice.
3. Imicus. I don't care how many people tout the Probe as best minig frigate, I continue to believe that the massive drone bay of the imicus makes it the better ship, while they were mining lots of scordite, I was mining omber and kernite! Later I had an ever increasing horde of drones to do my bidding, be it uber mining or otherwise.
Good times, good times.

Strict Gallente but have flown other ships in previous guises - Tempest is a sweet ship, Apoc for tank-o-rama.

Megathron - The perfect ship for fleet combat. Why? Because it doesn't matter if you are at 10km or 120 km, I'm still going to hit you and you will remember my name! Wanna play up close? You better have double hardeners and two large Accomadations on that Apoc because T2 Ions hurt!
Deimos - Long range or short range, I love this ship. MWD forever + insane tank & damage... this was my ship of choice against XETIC in our last contract.
Harpy - The perfect raider ship. Cruiser-level sheild tank, four mid slots, thumping damage bonuses and... yeah, I really dig the spinning things!

Tempest : Long or close, beats the **** out of anything, they dont know what hit em when something with 19.x dmg mods strikes u.
Rupture : the perfect solo pirateing ship. packs alot speed around 2.5 km/s with a mwd, and firepower to take down a cruiser rather fast.
Wolf : Perfect support ship, to keeping does ceptors away from the rest of the gang.

Exequror, sweetest looking ship in Eve because of the great sense of scale.
Tristan, The design is awsome.

I don't really have any other 'favourite' ships as such. No other ship holds anywhere near the same affection that I have for the Deimos. Its just uncontested for me.

Crow: Nothing quite like being able to enter enemy territory, rack up plenty of kills, then leave in quite a small space of time, love the crow missile spam
Blackbird : Again, nothing quite like laughing as your 3 million isk cruiser-made-of-god-knows-what takes two enemy battleships "out of the game" in a large battle.
Raptor : 2x Sensor Booster II's, 1x Warp Disruptor, 3x Signal Amplifiers, and say goodbye to the enemy shuttles!

1. Incursus  yes, im serious...it is the most fun because it packs a punch and is inexpensive to loose.
2. Taranis kinda like a super incursus.
3. Enyo...cross between the above two and a cruiser.
See a pattern here??... I like fast and manueverable ships. I have very little fun in BS or large slow ships because I feel too much like a sitting duck.

Raven- I have killed more things with this ship then anything else and it has got me into and out of some pretty sticky situations.
Malediction- My first inty, in my opinion the most balanced inty,fast,agil,great tackler,eats other frigs alive and next to the Meg is the best looking ship in game.
Apoc-When I switched to an Apoc from a raven I could swear that there was a bug on how much Power grid I had.
This thing makes me feel like god,great ganker,great sniper, isane tanker. Just wish it didn't look like a giant flying Egg beater.

Eagle - 40k optimal with am and tank i love it.
Harpy - Would've been #1 if i wasn't flying eagle. Good tank and good dmg.

1) The rifter. Though I dont fly it much these days, I've probably spent the most time in this thing. Heck, for about 3 months of my time in EvE, it was the ONLY thing I flew. It looks nice, and it's meh friend.
2) Crusader. It looks badass, it feels badass, and it is badass. Love it.
3) Thorax. See rifter.

1. Ferox (I love this ship dearly, for many reasons including that it's the best Caldari gunship around short of the Eagle and I LOVE railguns...plus it has the most turret hardpoints of any Caldari ship except for the Cormorant)
2. Eagle (I drool over this ship on a daily basis...I suppose it could own a Ferox, but I don't actually FLY an Eagle, and I probably won't get to in the forseeable future)

1. Zealot, it inspires a whole new level of fear in interceptors. Battleships don't like it much either.
2. Apocalypse, one of the most versatile ships out there. Gank, Sniper, Tank, NPC, Mining, can do it all.
3. Armageddon. Even with the nerf, it's omgwtf ability is unmatched.

1. Zealot (Nothing like warping into a 4/10 complex, seeing that 2.5 mil BS and all its friends, and thinking "this is too easy"). Sexy for PvP too, though as a hardcore carebear thats not really my thing.
2. Crusader (its like a mini Zealot, and plus Ive got lots of fond memories with it)
3. Crow (what can i say... its a crow, awesome stuff)
Honorable Mention - Malediction (for being pretty much the sexiest looking ship there is. im surprised people don't just look at it and give up)

1. Gallente navy Vexor, it looks |337 with new colors, but same hairdryer design 
2. Exequror, for all those bright green windows on dark gray hull(favorite colour combo).

Dominix- after you get used to the look of the thing its awesome. I'm most comfortable in this ship and you'll only ever lose one to pvpers, rats can't touch it.
Incursus- This ship is fun. It looks great and its very fast.
Megathron- I don't have the skills to pvp effectively in this yet but the megathron was my first BS and even though I keep losing them I will always look to it as my favorite battleship.

1) Caracal Navy Issue: awesome tough cruiser, looks uber sweet too
2) Harpy: i like lots of firepower in small packages

2. Taranis - Gotta love it with T2 150s heck even Modal Neutrons & Electrons

The Harpy also comes pretty close, mainly because of its rotating thingy and also the Hawk because of its looks.
This might change once I get my Eaaagle.

Raven - for easy L4 missions (it's a shame that i have to call this ship first atm)
Iteron 5 - fast Indy (easy to get it to 1500m/s), lots of cargo when needed, can use 4 giants + 10MW MWD!
Ares - nice courrier ship, fast, can have enough cargo for small transport jobs
Apoc - for the mobility - take your sets of lenses, 5 mods to change and move

In no particular order.......
(1) Kessie, can do almost any job and great fun going in against 50k rats with them when you are still a n00b and winning.
(2) Caracal, I have won more PvE fights that I thought I would never make it through in this ship than any other, earnt me a lot of cash too.
(3) Harpy, THE caldari mini-gunboat.

1. Hawk. I love to tank things. Tanking things in ridiculously small things is even better. Plus, it looks sweeeeet.
2. Thorax. It just looks cool. One of the only ships that actually LOOKS like a starship.
3. Scorp. I always feel special flying the Scorp. Dunno what it is... But when I see all those Ravens flying about, and I'm the only one in a Scorp, I just think to myself "Haha, losers! I'm in a giant, flying Christmas Tree!"

My favorite ships. Hmm. Let me come up my lists here, because before I quit two years ago, I remembered my old favorite ships and today my list has changed because of the newer ships.
Ok. Let's see. My first few choices and they are at present today for Caldari - Kestrel, Moa, and two years ago was Raven but today it will be the Ferox since Ferox has more missles than the Raven.
So it's Kestrel Moa and Ferox for Caldari's in present year.
I had a list for Gallente ships, but I left that in my home box so I would have to say the Megathron and the level 3 cruiser. I don't know for Frigate however. I didn't like going for Dominix though. Some of my former buddies before I quit called it Mr Potato.
I think the level 3 cruiser was called the Vertex. Starts with a V. So I will call it the Vertex.
So my past loves were the Vertex and the Megathron for Gallente.
Never tried Amarr so I will leave that off the list.

The Moa - From the ol' oversized afterburner days. I have a softspot for it because I really enjoyed using it as anti-frig in fleet and skirmish groups. I think i was on most of my assists with a moa actually. However, it has since been supreceeded by . . .
The Vagabond - Very High speeds coupled with close range AC's. Luverly jubbly. Backed-up with . . .
The Wolf - Only just got the skills to fly the Harpy post contract finishing, so until I take that baby out, this is my AF of choice for speed and general hard hitting 280mm II goodness.

Wolf - Packs a punch like no other with 4 280mm howie tech 2's. Fast AF with AB2
Crow - Can't beat these for ease of use.
