Do skills train while your account is inactive?
I'm asking because i'm inbetween banks and as such no longer have access to a credit card. It'll take me a week orso to get my new one, so I was thinking of setting a long skill in training so I don't miss out.. would this work?

I asked some people ingame and they told me the exact opposite.
Anyone have first hand experience with this? If so please let me know..

Yeah it does continue to train, granted I dont know if it is 100% train speed though.
Thats what I do if I know its going to be a week or so before I can afford to pay my eve bill after it runs out. Set a skill that takes a week or two to train and have it done or almost done when I get back.

I'm pretty sure it does I have had to take a break every now and again and allways put very long skill training. Everytime I come back its done or only has a few days left which is nice

As far as I know the skill does train when your account is inactive, but you can't set a new skill to start training though.

I am 100% sure that skills DO train while your account is inactive. So if you are going on long holiday you might want to let your account lapse and set BS5 to train. ;)

i hope they keep it as it is.. a few weeks shouldn't matter? I often have to take a week or two week break from eve until payday.. it's nice being able to train skills in that time.
Gives me a reason to come back as well.. ________

Personally i'll only be gone for 2 weeks tops, but I see it as an extra incentive to come back if I did indeed want to quit for a longer period of time. So in the end its probably a good thing for CCP.

Its good for CCP because those who leave are more likely to come back. Its not unfair because anyone can do it. And it doesnt mean people are getting EVE for free, because they cant log in or change skills while their account is inactive.

It absolutely does work. I trained Cruiser 5 on two accounts while they were suspended. One of them is training mining barge 5 right now suspended again. |

Yes, 100% positive that works. Training proceeds as normal even with an inactive account.
