They used to be pretty quick but now I see a post I made two hours ago or more only 4-5 posts below this thread. :( Need stuff moved? Push Industries will handle it. Doesnt explain the SHARP decline in forum activate Edit: it may be sandy, but i cant imagine that many players are from the east coast. also, 9am(eastern) is around the time the server goes down daily i think

Accompanied by an increase of staff responsible for these things. I think I've read something like that recently. Given that it seems most people are used to mainly read and post in GD, that could explain a perceived decline in forums activity. I don't know, it's just an assumption.

I believe it is still the after effect of the focus last year on Walking around in stations and selling stuff in the online store instead of focusing in on internet spaceships. Now it seems to me that people are slowly coming back to EVE since CCP is focused on internet spaceships. I think EVE has bottomed out and will start to increase once again. I haven't really played EVE in almost a year at this point but am coming back since it seems that CCP is committed to Internet Spaceships. Who knows, I may even re-activate my alt account at some point!

Your starting to see the same drop off here in GD. People are bored with the arguments, the trolling, the meta-gamers, and there is not a lot of new blood coming into the game. All games have turnover, in order to offset that you have to have new clients signing on, staying on, and getting involved enough in the game to stay long term, they then are more likely to get involved in the forums. Eve is not for the average player, it requires too much involvement to get beyond simply flying around and trying to make isk. It's possible that Eve cannot sustain itself long term, without changing the very foundation of the game, and possible ruining it in the process. I guess we will see.....
