I dunno, look at the forums. The forums are moving as slow as molasses. They used to be pretty quick but now I see a post I made two hours ago or more only 4-5 posts below this thread.

From a high point of up to 50k people online at a time, its now slowly ,but steadily sliding down to a peak of around 30k and normally less than 20k online at a time.....

Probably backlash from high Plex prices, people are dropping subs on their extra alts, less alts, less numbers online.

Maybee its because ccp has not introduced a decent expansion in the last 2 years? Null sec is the same, low sec is the same, the ships are the same, look at Tech3.. nothing been added to them for over 3 years..

The only things that seem to be changing is high sec mechanics and bullshit cosmetics no one gives a sh1te about.

It's like the EvE employees have ADHD and cannot stick to a course of action and keeping on it before changing there minds...

Edit: it may be sandy, but i cant imagine that many players are from the east coast. also, 9am(eastern) is around the time the server goes down daily i think

Well these forums are pretty boring. Every thread is moaning and winging, talking about some form of 'bears' or just taking the game too seriously. No wonder there aren't many posts!

GD died when ISDs came in and started heavily modding the forum. Now it's not even interesting. Only if you do a dumb "Like" thread will it be left alone.

Just GD. CCP are taking all the good threads and hiding them somewhere else in an attempt to make GD as boring as possible.

Another person posting before they've done their research. Subs go up every year like clockwork. Eve is not dying, subs are not going down, traffic is not going down. Take the time to look this stuff up before deciding to post an "Eve is dying" thread.

-ISD-infested forums, means arguing online is no longer fun, and threads are no longer interesting to read.

But my time out of EVE has been well spent, so no worries.

3) November, 20 - Planetside 2 release. Game is so good I can't return to EVE yet (made it into beta few days ago) - and I don't even like FPS genre.

Prepare for even lesser numbers in following three weeks because

1) November, 13 - Rift: Storm Legion release (Rift leveling and story are fun despite boring PvE rading end-game a.k.a. "endless deaths during dungeon bosses encounters");

2) November, 15 - SWTOR goes F2P (surely worth checking - stories are fun);

3) November, 20 - Planetside 2 release. Game is so good I can't return to EVE yet (made it into beta few days ago) - and I don't even like FPS genre.

But I'm sure CCP will use their usual magic (a.k.a. "2 months for $19.99") in December to raise online numbers.

I wouldn't worry about it. The numbers always bounce around people are doing christmas shopping and busy until the new year. After the new year ppl stay in more during winter months the numbers willl increase then.

Now it seems to me that people are slowly coming back to EVE since CCP is focused on internet spaceships.

Yea well.. the same thing was said about the summer holidays and it still didn't pick up after it, same was also said about nullsec large scale sov wars which is now dead, we are in a trend.
