This is a rather well rounded forum, as forums go.
So my question to the EVE world is this:
What's your favorite Beer?
Living in America i feel I've got a limited selection, and my city is short on micro-breweries and such.
With food i enjoy a good pilsner, Heineken if they've got it on tap
After dinner a darker brew is a must . . . mmmm Guinnness
And let's stay away from "your choices suck!" comments, this thread is for suggesting your own favorites for others to try, not bashing an opinion that's completely based on taste
*Cheers!

Edited by: Sevarus James on 15/04/2005 06:29:24 I'm going to say that a Sam Adams does me just right most of the time. (guinness is foamy dark goodness as well).
My all time favorite beer (non-standard) would have to be:
Paulaner Hefe-Weizen. best wheat in the woild. (my opinion.)

What he said!
But you should also try Franziskaner Hefeweizen.. or one of the other countless German Hefeweizen Brands that are out there. mmmm.. just don't drink too much of it - Hefeweizen has a tendency to make you feel quite bloated. (not the beer to drink for a **** up!! - and the hangover can be a real killer hehehe)
BTW for those of you who don't know. Hefeweizen = Beer brewed from wheat (also commonly referred to as "wheat beer" in a direct translation)
Jacques <= Speaking from experience (too much perhaps).

And I can't find it here in the US, where I'm currently living (grad school). Damn.

Stella? Carling? Thats not beer, thats ****water
I like Tiger beer best, followed by a decent Czech Pilsner. Germans make some great lagers too, drank some great stuff in Munich. Lifes too short to drink crap like Budweiser (US stuff), Fosters and Heineken. Why have cotton when you can have silk?

Carlsberg because I'm a liverpool fan and Sofiero because I'm usually broke. Probably has the best quality/price ratio in Sweden.
Joshua we don't admit to liking Corona. The lemon makes all the difference. Same as in Bacardi limon in sprite. __________ Capacitor research |

I like Tiger Beer too but it's not really something you can drink for a long time. It gets a bit bland after a while.

QUILMES 4TW!
It's from Argentina, it may taste like p1ss to a seasoned UK bitter drinker but I love it (specially because it is not so hard on the stomach as the other laggers)

I am a Kreonenburg fan myself. it knocks the socks off stella artois. Heiniken, Carlsberg and Grolsh make good substitutes. A bottle of bud makes a BBQ.
Carling extra cold is passable as a back up option, but carling, fosters et al tend to test kind of metallic, even when draught.
Best beer I ever had however was called Boondoggle. Now that was a pint.
(Note to our American pals, 1 uk pint = 1.14 US pints I believe). _______

I'm also a die-hard Norwich fan and i had to be picked up after i saw the result.
Fosters Amber ftw. My local used to stock this and me and my mate drunk around 5 pints of this each per night, then they got rid of it, and i haven't found anywhere else that sells it. If you find it please let me know where and i will move house to drink it. =============================================

Thankfully, nobody has offered up Coors as their brew of choice!
It's gotta be the square meal in a round cup aka Guinness, or for a bit of a change, Young's Double Chocolate Stout or Oatmeal Stout. All three are nectar in a pint glass.
