10% per level extra LP reward from agents in divisions listed in the military connections skill.
There is also a 'High-Tech Connections' which does the same thing for different divisions. | Join eve-webring.com to promote your site. |

Hm. Does this skill affect the number of RP you get from your Research agent when you do missions? It list "RD" as an affected division, which implies that it should; but on the other hand you get RP, not LP from those missions.... Anyone tested this skill with their R&D agent?

My hunch is that each agent type is affected by two skills. My other hunch is that they DO stack.
If these things work, I want them:)

Just a bunch of scammers trying to overcharge something other than cap charger IIs.Nothing new.
Sooner or later price will drop because -everyone- can easily get 15k LPs for the offer.
Also, notice how the same division pops up in 2 of the skills?I wonder if they stack....high tech connections and military both affect survelliance for instance.

Sounds right. A couple of days ago I got about 1500 loyalty points for a level 3 extravaganza, last night I got 1900 loyalty points for the same mission but this time with military connections level 3.
1500*1.3=1950

I understand it as an excuse to get as much ISK as possible.
150 million for a item that only costs 15k LP and 10 mill?LOL.I cant stop laughing.
An item's worth is not determined by "i want m4d isk!Im gonna try to sell this at ridiculous prices!" people. Its determined by a combination of supply, demand, and worth of the item.

The value of an item is directly related to supply and demand. A rare item will have a higher value, because somebody is willing to pay the price tag on it. If it is truely overpriced, then it wont be bought. This is the fashion that a free market regulates it's self. I think you confuse value with utility, which the higher the utility, the faster the value raises with increasing rarity.
As more people take this offer, the price will drop significantly. Alot of people will be smart enough to just wait for the offer through their agent, however some are not that patient. As a consumer, you can excercise your powers on the market by responding to the price fixed to an item at any given time - yay or nay.
Oops, wrong char. Is there a way for me to switch this post to my main?

So, Question 2... By your judgement, all loot items should be free right?
The value of an item is depicted by what people are willing to say, not what it costs to get. --------

This is correct. Getting a hardwire implant is very difficult and should cost many millions.
I do believe tho that these skill books will be worth good isk for a long while.

yea, I would like to know this as well, before I spend my LP or my ISK for a skill like this...and do they stack? I noticed some of the divisions are affected by two different skills.

if you want it for less than 100-50M isk.. you will have to get the LP and 10M isk ready to buy it.

I have no problem shelling out the isk and LP if the skill actually works but I don't want to spend the LP and isk, and especially not the training time, if the skill doesn't work. So could someone who has actually trained it please speak up? And if someone has military and political or business or any of the others, and are doing missions for divisions that overlap, does the skill stack?

Has anyone seen how they affect R&D yet? Is it a multiplier on RP's earned per day? or just increases the points if you do the days mission ?

I'd like to mention that yesterday I saw military connections on escrow for a rather high amount...and had no problems paying 680M (yes...million) on escrow for it.
One of the posters here was correct. The utility of the skill involved has a direct impact on it's value. The other reality is that though we can wait & wait....time is something that I don't like wasting in this game. The training multiplier for this skill is 1X (very fast to train) for a benefit that can see near immediate dividends when doing missions.
The end is you are getting 50% more skillpoints for lvl4 missions which can translate into 11k skillpoint missions...faster navy ships & billions of isk made w/o wasting weeks or months of time doing extra missions because you didn't want to 'waste' too much money on a skill.
Some mods we have are quite expensive...and can be lost. Skills however are never lost & always remain with the character. The military connections skill enables a character to make a huge amount of isk in a substantially shorter period of time. Is this worth 500M or even 1bn isk? I would say in the long run yes. This is not an item found openly on the market. It's a rather rare offer that is not easy to find. What I suspect is that when it first appeared...it was going for around 150M. As the reality of faster navy ships & the big 2.5 - 3.0bn payouts came around...the prices have increased. There is a definite advantage to having this skill & the costs no matter how outrageous they may seem are far higher than the costs it takes in time & energy of making up LP's because you didn't want to part with isk (which is well spent improving a characters ability).
Anyways....I'm looking forward to my navy raven....& I look forward to flying with you all in the future.
Cheers!
Sam

Would you have no problem buying one for me too then? Then we can fly around in our navy issue ships together. :) seriously, I can't see myself paying quite that much, but I would pay a good bit. Of course, the trouble is that they don't work yet... At least, noone has posted if they have noticed an increase since monday, when they were SUPPOSED to be actively working.
