To my fellow miners: Remote rep ftw. Remember that if they attack your mackinaw unprovoked they get a global criminal flag which means that ANYONE can attack them, neut them, and rep you with no problems. You don't have to be in the same corp, just wait for them to turn red. Yeah it's a pain and the logistics are more complicated, but it can be done.
Oh I know the Goonies are all going to be gunning for me now, I invite you to Ala. C'mon, it's a 0.5. This should be EASY. Please bring expensive ships like Tempests or Typhoons I am fed up of killing battlecruisers. Or on the other hand go back to being nullbears, admit that your campaign is failing before it has even started, and leave the real mining for us filthy pubbies here in High-sec.

Drones have been tried on me. And disco battleships have been tried on me. Oh I can be killed - everyone can be killed. But you should research your targets before diving right in. Possibly the 100M+ skill point players that have start dates in 2005 are going to take a bit of a team effort to take down, unlike the newbs in Deninard. Look before you leap, sort of thing.
But every ship you send after me is one less ship going after real new players who are losing mack after mack without knowing why. I'll be waiting. I have deep pockets, and baiting you guys is kind of fun. |

Meh I have no illusions. You guys have numbers. You certainly have some very skilled players. There's no possible way I can stand up to goonswarm alone. And I will probably killed and podded, I really don't give a damn. all I see is "op success". belts ended up clear did they not? whether you gank the pubbie or scare him away, it doesn't matter.
Yes, I went and walked my dog while my aggro timer wound down. I was back mining with 5 macks about 15 minutes later. So it's a success in that you are slowing me down. On the other hand, ice can be sold for almost double what it used to go for. So my net income hasn't changed all that much, but now I'm having more fun. OK, call it a success. |

Typhoon, 5000 cap, 8 high slots. Large EMP Smartbombs 200GJ/activation and 250HP damage. x8 means1600 cap for 2k damage, but with a 10 sec cycle time. In the meantime, 6 heavy neuts drain 575 x 6 = 3450 cap every 24 secs. So you are not getting more than 1 round of smart-bombs, maybe 2 depending on skill and fit. Macks have over 4k EHP when not tanked so you need 3 cycles. In the mean time I am remote repping, and concord has shown up thanks for playing. Of course you're free to use T2 or faction stuff. And I'm free to have more than 2 neut battleships/reppers.
No seriously, you need teamwork you can't do it alone. As for where I log off, you can wait outside my POS all night, I'll even leave my accounts online for ya. Of course you could war dec me. No seriously, empire ganking only works on absolute newbs, bots, or if you have huge numbers. The minute the care-bears get organized with a couple basilisks your plan comes to a screeching halt. |
