Plan A is outblobbing. Plan B is to bore your enemies to death.

From the Alliance war for dummies book:
Plan A: Blob Plan B: .. basically plan A with an element of panic.

I like the 'hiding behind the sofa until your mom says all the bad people have gone away' tactic.

If you think you can do a better job, go find yourself a datacentre to host a box, get a copy of Visual Studio, and STFU.

The best "strategist" in the game is by far and away Chowdown from Shinra. Strategy in the sense I use it goes beyond what you are describing which are tactics (such as gankageddons (not invented by m0o btw)). Strategy is more than just that, it encompases the geopolitical.
For pure political Machinations, while remaining low key, you have to be impressed by Chowdown;
He has been behind the scenes of every major political upheavel in the south and west of eve. Im not going to go into details, but those of you in power...think for a moment. Who suggested that change? Who put you in touch with that person to negotiate that NAP? Who convinced you to accept that compromise?
Bet you never noticed that before :P

Hopefully blob wars will get a little more strategic in nature now that the map only shows the average over the last 30 minutes in a system. +++
It's called "low security space" for a reason. |

So Chowdown is the one who came up with the Shinra synchronized logonÖ ? ________________________________

Seems a little biased.
Not that your corpmate won't appreciate the compliments or anything...it just seems like something you should rather share in corpchat than on the forums.
