also while I'm on the issue, PLEASE make the "nearing downtime" message not seize focus from game play, it would be REALLY simple to just make it text message popup near were would normally be the WARP DRIVE ACTIVE message that didn't require a response from the user or seize focus from all other actions, and/or or a system message that appeared in every chat window??

Last I remember hearing, CCP had to investigate to see if convospam lag was a real thing, and what exactly caused it? Something about a third party doing the investigation? So I don't think the answer is 'soon', it's 'when they've finished the investigation'. |

well. it does not matter at the end of the day if it influences performance or not. It is spam. Just limit how much crap a fleet can send at once to a reasonable number of messages.

all im sayin is that it would be easy to backspam any spammer with the message "that person already has a pending conversation invite" same way they do with fleet invites
