can you make it so the "dark songs that play in systems that have a lot of kills in the last 24 hours" also happens in lowsec?
Come on. We want to hear them in lowsec too. |

Mikron Alexarr wrote:As a veteran who played with sound, it saddens me a bit to hear the music will go to the cloud. "...But Still We Go On" is the first thing I always heard when I log into eve. That welcoming music was part of the routine that kept me grounded. I understand the reasoning, and Eve is all about reasoning and cold numbers. As I listen to the music now though (on sound cloud), I am reminded that all things change, and Eve should be no exception.
you could always...download the song and queue up your EVE playlist on your media player whenever you start the game, first song being that one? |

Hemi DarkStar wrote:no, no , NO, NOOOO I spend ages finding decent EVE-esk music for that absolutely brilliant Jukebox. Now that I finally spread that music (1.4 GIGs) to my fellow clan m8's that really enjoy it, you guys remove it???? No other game came even close with this functionality. I don't want to fire up winamp everytime I play EVE. Please please please...don't do this us. The jukebox worked like a dream for me, a great shuffle and all custom music felt like it belong in the game. As much as I like the music in the game, it's not enough when you play the game for long periods of time. For me this is truely a dark day in my personal EVE history, because I really loved its Jukebox...allot.
write a batch file that opens both eve and media player of choice...
have your playlist as the main (first) playlist...
press play key on your computer. done.
in total, 1 extra keystroke. |

CCP t0rfifrans wrote:Dersen Lowery wrote:Would there be a way to have EVE only play music if it's the frontmost window, and to play environmental effects at 25% volume if it's not? That way, if you had sound enabled, you'd only hear one soundtrack, but you could still make out the shield alarm on your AFK Mackinaw (frex ;-) ) in a background window. That's a good idea and worth looking into, if we can do it technically!
If you can get it to go "autopilot disabled, waypoint reached" while minimized, you can definitely do this :D

it should play really intense music
(thinking sweat-inducing ambient effects)
when first entering camped systems
thinking a 30 second interlude that fades back to standard music when done |
