Whats up with this? Since the patch this is the only Extraveganza mission anyone seems to get. What happened to the Guristas one?

Can confirm I just got an angel extravaganza from a carthum agent located in domain so it seems to be borked.

I have had a serpentis one scince patch but angels seems to be far more common. Must be some sort of bug

Maybe they should.. But do you really think its a bad idea for these people to maybe check it first to see if its just by chance or if there is something to it.. This way they dont end up sending in bug reports about bugs there aint there, which in the end leaves more time for the bugs that really are there and needs to be tested and confirmed.

I believe that Gurista Extravaganza is still around, for the record the bonus tier now contains 5 battleships not 3.
It has been considerably sooped up and took an experienced mission runner most of their afternoon/evening play to complete.
Once I get more details I'll add them into our guide but it has been lagorific in Citadel so once the servers aren't being hammered so much we'll have a chance to take stock of what new missions/enemies we've come across.

i got a guristas extravaganza a few days ago, it was my first ever level 4 mission
apparently, i had no armour, as soon as my shield went down, i started losing structure, this was while being swarmed by enemy cruisers and battleships, which causes my computer to freeze for about 20 seconds, so i'm sitting there, going "come on, damn it!" then i get back, i have about 10% shield left, i hit the booster, but it's no use, as soon as the shield goes down, i start losing structure, by then, i had clicked warp, and i was yelling at my computer, using some pretty nasty language, then, as soon as i'm about to warp, BOOM, my ship blows up and i'm in a pod :P
luckily some friends lent me enough money to be able to buy myself a new raven and pay for insurance, but i failed that mission, which means i couldnt do level 4 missions until i gained standings again.
i'm not really in a hurry :P (gonna wait until my engineering skills are better)

Angel Extravaganza now being dished out by all factions is actually a change of design and not a bug. The Angels are the most widespread of the criminal factions and can be found anywhere. The belts do not reflect this because although the cartel can technically be found anywhere within civilized space you do not see them infesting asteroid belts outside of their main sphere of influence.

Last night my lvl3 agent gave me Angel Extravaganza then Guristas Extravaganza straight after each other.
Which was nice.

Ooh that reminds me. Why does Guristas get a 45 minute bonus time yet Angel had a 2 hour bonus time?
Had me puzzled...

45 minutes is too tight but I found the Angels 2 hours waaaay too easy.

Always been like that. Once you know what is required, you just bring it. Its a bonus gate, not required of you, hence should require some extra.
The angel palladium tag drop from arch angel rats, 100k ones or there abouts. I found a lot of them while ratting in low end of Heimatar region.

Bonus gate in my mission had some great stuff behind it, 1.2m angel BS, a bunch of cruisers, a battlestation. Good stuff.

no. palladium tags drop from 90k npc cruisers, angel scouts  i got 60+ angel palladium tags

I'm running missions for the Caldari Navy, and i got the Angel extravaganza lvl 3, with the 2 hour bonus time, last night. Stupid thing took 2 hours and 7 minutes in my Caracal.
Missed it by that much. |

got a question regarding extravaganza missions that I would like to have answerd from a dev if they got time why is it that there is angel, guristas and serpentis extravaganza but no sansha? prior to this patch doing missions for example sarum, amarr navy or another amarr corp was at times disapointing when corpmates and others said they just looted dread items during their extravaganza (extra lvl I belive) I had to sit there knowing that I didnt even have a chance of getting a mission like that since there where no sansha one  |

I believe that was fixed a couple days ago. It's not supposed to be dished out by any of the factions friendly towards the Cartel, for obvious reasons. When I said all factions, I meant all Empire factions .

Any plans to introduce Jove Extravaganza to (all) agent runners? Since, obviously, what most of us had before wasn't hard enough (i.e. Guristas, Bloods, Sansha), you had to introduce Angels 'vaganza...
So... please, Devs, consider upping the ante
P.S. Most eagerly looking forward to loosing my ship and the mods (and the time spent getting them/isk for them) 0.00000001 sec after being lagged/aggroed by the whole spawn/battleships doing 1km/sec in deadspace...

Ahhh come on...
It sure gives non-minmatar agent runners a nice suprise when they find their serpentis, guristas, and blood based tanks are laughed at by angel rats. 
All 4 damage types 4 the win??
I like this addition. 
Everyone wanted a "nerf" to lvl 4 missions...
You got it! In the form of a 1.5 to 3 hour time sink. Enjoy!
(Changes nothing for minny agent runners tho. ALL of our extravs are Angel.)

On a serious note tho, this mission is just as easy as the other extrav missions. You just have to be more careful is all. There are loads of 'how to's' for this mission on the forums so I won't bother telling you how to approach all the diferent areas. Just get some distance and all should be fine.

well, i don't mind angels being the toughest, but i am doing missions for a caldari agent, and not based in minmatar space, so i have a hard time to get those palladium tags. :-(
