I joined them thinking it was ran by a well respected people who valued and respected any individual in EVE. And was I wrong with that assumption. If you are intended to join a corporation that is ran by a RL married couple that doesn't give a ** about you unless you are good at kissing ass for months/years or are a RL friend of them, then it might be a good corp for you. If you intend to join a corp where leadership actually follows what they preach (respect anybody and everybody in EVE) and do what proper leadership does (be objective in any matter and base decisions on facts and not how good someone is kissing ass). While I can understand that the thread was locked due to breaching the rules, this is also a rule that severely hinders recruitment for many corporations and alliances that rely on the EVE forums for their recruitment. There are many corporations out there that strive to have member activity in several timezones, and for those corporations its vital that their recruitment thread can be bumped during the appropriate timezones depending on what timezone is low on members at that point. So, if a person is listed as an official recruiter in the OP, they should be allowed to bump the thread for the corp they are recruiting for. Or rules can be clarified and it can be made obvious weather or not a corporation is allowed to create several recruitment threads that can be written and bumped by the recruiter who wrote it, or if this would be breaching rules since in theory this means that a corporation could create several threads for the same corporation and bump them simultaneously basically drowning out other peoples adverts. Please note that this is not covered either here, or here which is why im questioning if this is a valid tactic to use. After some years of playing Eve under the wing of Phoibe, I've found this corp to be a home to those brave, charming, roguish, indolent, flirtatious, witty, generous, and even irksome gadflies like me. I see Phoibe as a cozy, small village with many paths to tread. Knock on some ones door and they will likely take you in to have some tea and share the tales of the beasts and demons that stalk the darkened void outside the walls. To take up the sword and brave those darkened, tangled places to either return glorious in victory, or prostrate upon your shield. Or perhaps to simply harvest the fields, or even (as had happened once.), find ones true love. Results may vary of course, but as with anything in life, if you apply yourself in this corp, socially, industrially, or martially, you will thrive here. If however, you expect things to fall into your lap, look elsewhere. Both Zendane and Nightcrawler, who I refer to as "The Boss", are people of integrity and have a willingness to listen to our members. In all the years I've been here not once have they let me down, or ignored my (sometimes dubious) advice. I've talked with them eye to eye and know them to be for real. In that odd dream world we all call "the real world", they are quite busy sometimes and are not always available; but this is what directors are for isn't it? I am currently trapped in this strangely shared dream for a bit again, harvesting the primitive paper chits that pass for wealth amongst these backwards, ancient folk who inhabit it. My "manager" keeps haranguing me about not having enough "flare" on my apron! He just looked at me puzzled when I challenged him to a duel outside the hanger.
